Yeah, I haven't been lollipopping per say cause I don't have much of a stem going on (which is a good thing lol) but every time I water, I've been plucking off leaves that either look sad and pathetic or seem to be blocking a lot of other leaves. So far so good... but its hard to gauge how much is helpful and how much is hurtful for the plant.
Yeah... they're stretching toooooo much!! :/ Both have nearly TRIPLED in height... but I still have some wiggle room... not much. Also, I have 2 T8 fixtures that I use for side lighting but took them out for pics (you can see 1 in the 2nd pic). I got a new side job as a horseback riding instructor last week and I plan on using that as my "splurge" money haha... i.e. my grow op money... in other words... I plan on finding a new grow cab ASAP. I've been looking but haven't come across anything yet. I'm definitely on the lookout though. I probably can raise the lights another 4-5"... and the top colas are literally about a cm away from the lights. I've also been defoliating a little each day and have cut off a few of the lower smaller branches that looked sad. Been trying to slow the vertical stretch but it's not working...
My current cab is so perfect for 1 plant... I really should've just done one, oh well. It's also light weight and has wheels. I bought it for $15 at Goodwill and I've been keeping my eye out. I'm thinking about buying a tent though honestly... just not sure if it's worth the price vs. making my own cab.
same here, I made mine from scrap wood and only had to drop the cash $$$ on insulation really. But I do have a ton of tools which makes it easier. If you have a drill and a sawz-all however, a decent cab would only take a few hours to complete, plus it would fit your needs (or space) to a tee.
Thanks! I'm growing stealth, but I have space in a closet I can use... I just can't turn the entire closet into a grow space because I can't vent it (need to keep the closet door open and keep the cab stealth/lightproof). I'm renting an apt actually, growing as illegal as you can get haha. Understanding gov't my ass! lol I live on the east coast.hey Bygone, looking good, if you don't have to go stealth mod then maybe you could turn a spare room into your grow room, if its upstairs you could vent into the loft. if only we all had understanding governments like yours. good luck and happy growing
