First Real Grow (Good Bagseed)

ok, my first real grow.
i have grown like 3 times before but not my own personal indoor set-up, but anyways...
I was gonna wait till i could get everything set up the right way but funds are limited right now so i went ahead and started and made due with what i got.

I started germination on 12-22 and by 12-25 seven seeds were germinated, 2 of same (unknown bagseed) strain, 3 of same unknown bagseed strain, and 2 of some local hi-mids.
12-26 all seven were planted into 2-liter containers with drainage holes, i used a no-name brand soil with very little nutrients at all and no time-release(me and ppl i know have had good results with this stuff so i trust it, especially because im not considering this a grow of 'effort')

5 plants were sprouted by 12-29 so thats all i kept.

on 1-5 i was amazed when i found a little sprout growing up the side of my fourth plant so i got her out of there and she was messed up the whole stem was like a root and everything was smushed.
as of today she is looking better, i'll post pics when she looks descent.
(i trimmed some of first nodes leaves to stimulate growth and raised the heat. within 4 days stem started to thicken and turning green and leaves are spreading out and getting full color back.:oi love playing doctor

anyways, i started all plants on 21-3 and have worked my way to 18-6 about a week ago ( i was gonna go 24-0 til flowering but said f-it, they had no problems with time change though)

only problem i seem to have(other than a couple stretch arm strongs cause the lighting was pretty high) is one of my plants leaves are kinda twisting a little bit, and only 1 leaf tip is a little burned. im believing maybe i watered a little too much for the second week and it gave her a little too much nutrients from the soil, so just in case i flushed her once earlier and if it doesnt improve i'll flush her again once soil dries out a little.

i do not have half of the tools i need so like i said this isnt much effort, im goin old school with just a little bit of new. lol.

no soil testers:cry:
no HM or HPS:cry::evil::cry:
only CPS and flouros
i calculated current lumens and forgot it and didnt write it down, lol, damn wake-n-bake:-?:weed:

give me advice, input, whatever u so please as long as u realize i do know, most principles of proper growth and care. And i am fully aware of 75-80% of my incorrect set-up.

purely fun, experimental, and meant to be a learning experience and a time-consumer until i have the money for my full set-up.

Thanks for looking and i'll post more pics and info in a couple of days.

and oh yeah, no nutes yet of course i just got some input about what i should use, so i'll be ready in a couple of weeks...

as of today they are 2weeks 5days old.

could be the soil being you dont have a ph tester . If u r strapped for cash then get the 3 in 1 it test the soil for wetness, ph level for water n your soil , plus how much light the plant is getting .I BROUGHT MINE AT WALMART FOR $10. with this u will be able to make sure your soil n ph level of your water is correct plus u cant over water becase the tester will tell u how wet or dry you lady r . Im a first ttime grower but did alot of research n had alot of good growers in my corner. so goo luck n hit me if u need help .

well here is a couple pics to show how they were lookin about 5-7 days ago.

also there is a couple pics of my cheapo version of a single cloner, i ran out of soil so i dropped a seedling on in to see if it would work and behold, a nice root system in 3 days :D:leaf:

Thanks a lot to everyone offering info...
also to let everyone know i use a 2liter bottle with the top cut off as a humidity dome.
also i havent used any nutes besides half strength 10.15.10 on one plant to test it out.
im gonna bump this up to full strength next week and see how it goes...
not sure of the route im goin with the training, ive been thinking about either going straight to the side one way or just going in like a square shape coming up from the pot...

give me some feedback...please and thank you...

,,like the 2ltr humidity thing good idea ,,,,,, wont be using them for long tho, lol gona grow fast,,, ( tho will they not get to much humidity?? ) if so wht effects were shown,,,?

i think i will be using soil base next time seems to be few less problems,,, long as you start with the right mix,,

thanks joe, yea i wanted to try to do the pinch method but i kept feeling like i was gonna snap it off. lol, i am thinkin of this as a experiment grow but i just couldnt do it,lol.

im gonna try next grow cause hopefully i'll have a strong mother and a bigger cloner that will be full....ahhhh, sounds great :)

yea i didnt like the mountain dew 2 liter it seemed like it wasnt clear enough, so i used part of it as a base and a coke 2-liter at the top. i'll post a pic later, the humidity stays around 80-90% more towards 80-85 tho...not too bad.
i was just messing around with it really anyways, but i'm gonna get a little good use out of it.

theyre all lookin good, i'll post new pics soon...
