Hey people. Questions and comments are welcome.
Equipment
Planted the Tart on January 21st and the Rose on January 24th. Started with 5 Tart, but dried one of the seedlings up after putting the rockwool cube into the soil - whoops. I put them all into 12/12 on February 8th. Of the 4 Tarts remaining, only 1 of them ended up being male. Of course the feminized Rose didn't disappoint in its reveal.
The Tarts showed first signs of sex at about day 10 of 12/12 which is when I whacked the male and re-potted the confirmed females over the course of 2 evenings. I realize this was not a great time, but I didn't want to screw around with more soil if I didn't have to. The Rose showed its first pistils on about day 12 of 12/12.
Today we are at day 20.5 of 12/12. The scraggly looking one had an accident during some LST and it's gone downhill.
A mix of security cam, phone, and dslr pics below.
2/8 Veg
2/8 Flipped to 12/12
2/14 one week 12/12
2/19 first signs
2/26 one week after first sign
Last night - Close up of Sugar Black Rose (top is the bottom, she's bent over of course)
Last night - Rose in the middle and broke-back on the right
Tonight - Tart top vs Rose top
Tonigt - Another Tart top
Equipment
- 4' x 4' Ohuhu grow tent
- 1 x 6" AC Infinity Cloudline fan thru a Vivosun carbon filter
- 1 x 600W MH (for veg, swapped to HPS already)
- 1 x 600W HPS (1 x 1000W of each ready if I want to go nuts)
- Soil is mostly peat moss with a bit of raw dirt. I know I fucked this up but I'm compensating by feeding slowly and not over watering.
- Fox Farm nutrients (7+ years old hahaha)
- Tap water at a cool 210ppm/9.2 PH. Hits 6.2 at 800ppm w/Tiger Bloom. I'm sure the peat helps keep it low/lower.
- 5 x Strawberry Tart
- 1 x Sugar Black Rose (feminized)
