Too much light?Somewhere on this forum is a long thread on the pitfalls newbies make. It's a good read.
Boiled down it lists the top reasons new growers fail; too much water (in media), too much light, too many nutrients, bugs, doing too much too fast, humidity, temp, bad advice, etc.
Just be aware that there are people who pop up in here that seem to give really bad advice. Don't jump at any rec's just because a well known member says to do something extreme. They may just be assholes trying to get you out of growing.
Too much light?
Ok, that’s different.Yes, putting your light too close to your plants will kill them. What you will see is a combination of light and heat stress.
First, the leaves will claw downward, as if they are trying to face away from the light. Next, the new growth leaves will be miniaturized and twisted - almost looking mutated. Finally they will begin to turn bronze, mimicking a deficiency (it isn't).
If you have a reasonably powered light - anything over 150 watts measured at the wall - put it up as high in the tent as you can and leave it there for your first few grows. Your plants will do fine, and you won't be chasing your tail wondering whats wrong with them.
Your goal is to get to harvest, not win the gm/watt competition.
No problem and best of luck!yeah my roots are pearly white and are being oxygenated with two big air stones I also ordered great white last night for preventative measures heard it accelerates growth as well as keeps roots healthy and protects against root rot I also use chilled water from cooler at 68 degrees @Just Be thanks brother
good luck to youI appreciate that just wanna grow good quality medicine positive vibes only
