First run at cloning

Okay, I'm starting to get the hang of growing from seed and I'm happy to say that my first attempt at cloning is going good so far. I have some seeds from “Purple Elephant” strain that I had picked up from one of my local medical dispensaries so I decided to give it a shot. I ended up getting lucky and having a female so after going into flower I took a cutting from my female.

Now the only problem I’m having at this point is how to change the light cycle and force veging, and the only idea I could come up with right now (money isn’t my friend right now) is to transplant the root rock wool cube into a soil mixture and place it outside. I don’t know if what I am doing is right but I plan to wait until I’m done flowering my other plants (only using two 150 watt HPS mini sun lights in a closet) and then move the soil planted clone back indoors under one of the lights on the veg light cycle.

I do want to know if the way I am planning on doing this is going to work. Any and help would be truly welcomed. Here are some pictures that were just taken.

And before anyone says anything the Folgers container is to allow the nuts to drain through...lol...smh, I know it was coming. ;)

my brother there alive and thats a plus if it were me i would slam them clones right into flower as soon as there rooted .. grow you one big super cola.. and you should still get a chance to get a clipping or two from the clones when they start taking off.. check out the 12/12 from seed thread really useful info..

Thank you, the only problem I have is I still have the mother flowering right now under the two lights. Is it safe enough to move one of the lights down to the clone and keep them on the same 12/12 light cycle?

Move the clone up and down to meet the light.
Don't stress the mother in flower.

Hey what's up! Yeah I picked up a Purple Elephant CLONE in the PNW, and I'm really liking the way its growing, i'm still planning on vegging it for another 5 weeks which is ridiculous, but I haven't setup a perpetual harvest, and am waiting on some blue dreams to completely flower, but I just had to pick up this clone.

I'll upload better pictures if I get some comments, but yeah, my purple elephant is growing really damn bushy, after topping it like a madman. Plus the stems are SOOOOOO strong and sturdy, compared to the Sweet Wreck, and Tangerine Dream I've got alongside them. They are all growing nice, but the Purple Elephant is really the one that will be able to hold up those big buds come flower.
