The issues with your last grow had nothing to do with your water source.I’m using general hydroponics flora trio. Coco perlite distilled water Mars hydro 600
Since this was my first auto grow I used distilled water because my last grow I used tap water adjust ph as per nute line fox farm trio
And plants always had issues. I think because of my tap water

[/QUOTE it could of been fox farm trio was mixed to hot but it jut seemed when I got the ph where it needed to be ec/pmm was crazy high
Yes I do 1/4 of recommended dosage but then again I’m no pro but can read labels and such lolDo you know how to properly mix nutrients?
This time I’m using this chart here and no issues so far Don’t mind the big red circle in the pictureDo you know how to properly mix nutrients?
You mix nutrients, adjust EC then adjust pH.it could of been fox farm trio was mixed to hot but it jut seemed when I got the ph where it needed to be ec/pmm was crazy high
Ok so how do you adjust ec? That’s could be where I went wrong ?You mix nutrients, adjust EC then adjust pH.
Mix nutrients according to manufacturer specifications and then dilute with water to lower the EC to where you want it. Or keep the same ratio but use less.Ok so how do you adjust ec? That’s could be where I went wrong ?
What do you find is the sweet spot for DLI?18/6. Most newer lights are strong enough that if you run them 20/4 or 24/0 you may exceed their DLI. They do fine on 18/6.
I don't measure it. Same as VPD. I'm just a novice grower and have no need to min/max my grows. What do you find is the sweet spot for DLI?
More light = larger plants. That's a valid reason. On autos and schedules, I've grown autos perpetually for 20 years ......on 12/12...which allows me to run a photo or two alongside, just to keep those autos in check . Never found any valid reason to do anything else....
Yah I ran a test run auto my last grower with my photoperiod and the buds turned out airy. And I'm pretty sure due to lack of light. But thabks for the other advice!FFOF tends to be a bit hot for autos so It's good to see you made it through the seedling stage with some ....next time use a milder medium...

Diminishing returns applies when you compare the percentage of cost increase for more light etc and the percentage yeild increase...
Lot less headaches too.
Bragging rights are not a valid reason. My protocol works fine. Health of plants is primary. Yall follow yalls and I'll follow mine. Cheers for good growing.More light = larger plants. That's a valid reason.
Nope.More light = larger plants. That's a valid reason.
Has nothing to do with bragging rights. Nor does length of light schedule have any relation to being able to keep a plant healthy.Bragging rights are not a valid reason. My protocol works fine. Health of plants is primary. Yall follow yalls and I'll follow mine. Cheers for good growing.
