Yes I do 1/4 of recommended dosage but then again I’m no pro but can read labels and such lol
Also wasn’t growing in coco either

You mix nutrients, adjust EC then adjust pH.

Ok so how do you adjust ec? That’s could be where I went wrong ?

Mix nutrients according to manufacturer specifications and then dilute with water to lower the EC to where you want it. Or keep the same ratio but use less.
Do you even know what 1/4 of the recommended amount comes out to in EC? It's a good idea to know what you feed every time.
The chart you listed has good EC targets.

I don't measure it. Same as VPD. I'm just a novice grower and have no need to min/max my grows.

FFOF tends to be a bit hot for autos so It's good to see you made it through the seedling stage with some ....next time use a milder medium...
On autos and schedules, I've grown autos perpetually for 20 years ......on 12/12...which allows me to run a photo or two alongside, just to keep those autos in check . Never found any valid reason to do anything else....
Diminishing returns applies when you compare the percentage of cost increase for more light etc and the percentage yeild increase...
Lot less headaches too.

Yah I ran a test run auto my last grower with my photoperiod and the buds turned out airy. And I'm pretty sure due to lack of light. But thabks for the other advice!

Bragging rights are not a valid reason. My protocol works fine. Health of plants is primary. Yall follow yalls and I'll follow mine. Cheers for good growing.

Has nothing to do with bragging rights. Nor does length of light schedule have any relation to being able to keep a plant healthy.
You stated you couldn't find a valid reason to run autos on anything but 12/12. I gave you one.

No where will a grower find that autos 'require' more light, only that they can handle it. After that, it becomes a growers preference and mine is less costs in every facet of growing. Quality does not improve with size. Being a medical cannabis user, quality weed is foremost.
Of course I've run different schedules over the years in separate systems...as an old nuclear inspector/document control, I found the schedule I use is best for me....takes a lot less care.
It's the cost increase of yeild that doesn't gain anything in quality as long as other parameters are in spec. The amount of quality light in the shorter schedule is one important part.
I know I'm an oddball grower but it has provided a lot of weed over these years with very little hassle.
