First Setup

Just realized my thread belongs here haha. Anyway, I was wondering if this would be a good idea (as something to do in a cleaned out/new garbage bin) :

A very small plant the whole thing is only 90cm tall? Also i'd avoid putting wires on the floor if thats like a power strip as water will for sure leak out the bottom and water and electricity is bad.

Yep, well guess I'll have to try and find out! If I go for it, should I stick to just flouros? That seems easiest and safest in the tight space.

HID lighting is optimal. 2nd id prolly say high output t5 fluoros. Even they still get hot. Lastly id use cfls. People get good grows out of em but I'm not interested in them.

In terms of lumens per watt nothing beats a high pressure sodium
