First Successful Grow So Far. Opinions & Help Requested

So I out of the project and adventure that I tried, I learned that old lesson of K.I.S.S.

Out of 6 plants only one is making progress.

This one is on 7th week. Its royal queen white widow auto. June 8th would be 75 days.

I already know pot is too small. Next go i have 3 gallon air pots.

Light are T5s. 4 bulb & 4 feet long. 18/6 cycle

Soil is fox farms and nutes are fox farm grow and fox farm bloom.

Watering about every 2 days. Have a soil meter and alternate between plain water and nutes every watering.

I have a scope comming in so I can see the "bulbs", but with about 3 weeks left how much more bud growth do you expect?

Is it good for first grow? I fail badly or am I slowly getting it?

Tips and advice is welcome.

I'm calling at least 2oz's if everything goes well through harvest...which it will.

... i know you said its an auto-plant, but it seriously looks like it'll go longer than that 3 weeks you think she might be finishing in...
let the plant determine when its finished-- not the days or weeks counted or suggested.

I will let the microscope determine when to harvest. Im just going my time frame cause my experience is limited

that plant is only around end of 4th week into bloom. My recomendation if your going to continue with T5s for bloom would be to learn a training style to create more tops

Can u top an autoflower?

Though that u didn't want to stress autos cause of recovery time?

you shouldnt since they only have a given time to veg with autos, with photoperiods stunting growth for a few days isnt as much as a problem, however losing a few days that you wont get back that are crucial towards building leaf mass isnt the best idea. if you're going for more exposure on the plant over, maybe LST then tie it down to grow horizontal, or set up lights in areas that are lacking exposure. before you LST though id take into account how fragile stems can be, massaging(lightly putting pressure on the stem, i use my middle and index finger and apply pressure with my thumb) the part which you want it to bend helps make it flimsy.

I checked her today and while the 8th was the 75th day, I took advice and keep close eye on her. I looked at her through my glass and started to see a couple brown globes here and there. I know from various guides they say never go past 50 cloudy/50 brown on globes. I think shes at roughly 10-15% cloudy. I am checking the buds directly, and not the leaf and checking the very top, not the insides.


Would you say that 3 more days would be about time to harvest? I know I checked her Saturday and did not see any brown globes.

My biggest suggestion ( which is hindsight ) is that you should have been vegging some photoperiod reg seeds on 18/6 while your auto grew. Aside from that your plants healthy considering your lighting but, as stated above, it'll be finished when it's finished, and not a single day sooner.

Ill keep an eye on the globes, and see how they progress. Another week will allow me to flush with plain water, since this is the first time I saw amber/brown globes.

Really hoping I don't mess this up in the end. Still have drying and curing to go through and been looking up info like mad to have everything covered.

So far first success and crossing fingers it continues and I continue to learn from it all.
