First tie is it ok

First attept to ever tie up plant just tied fishing line in 3 different spots above n tied together on the plant in the same spot it can't bend over in any direction and the line is not tied tight on the stem is it ok? Shoot I was gunna post sum pics but I'm on my phone n it won't let me upload pics

You should use twine or string not fishing line and yes it should be tighty tight, to trestell the direction you want it to grow , first you can start bending it slighty to weaken the stock holding it inthe desired position, then tie it firmly so it stay's without breaking the stock, if you do break the stock you can make a make shift bandade with tape or more string and it will heel itself. Bend that bitch. I crop my internodes and tie for the bushy phenotype.

In the early stages I use twist ties

Heck I used speaker wire .... made a lil hook and it pulls n holds the plant with no need to tie anything.
