First Time - 8000 Watt Medical - Aeroponic with 5 Gallon Buckets - Question on seeds

Hi Guys,

I've been trying to read and absorb as much on the fourms as I can in preparation to launch a 8000 watt aeroponic medi grow based on a DIY 5 gallon bucket design. I have a 30 plant limit so I'm hoping with 5 gallon buckets, 6 inch net pots and lots of light I can grow some monsters and pull a decent yield. I've run two very small 600 watt soil grows in a tent with very average yields so still very newbish. Heard Aero is the way to go so want to do this up right.

I’ve found lots of info on pvc piping design, sprayers, feeding schedules, etc but not a lot of info on how one goes about growing from seed in a aerocloner to 6 inch net pots in buckets.

A lot of people display germinating in rapid rooters then going to 2 inch net pots with hydroton. I would like to go from rapid rooters right to 6 inch net pots with hydroton. Any issue with this? Just bury the rapid rooter around the hydroton and off to the races?

Lastly, I’ve read that the bigger net pot size helps produce a bigger plant? Is there any truth to that or is a smaller net pot fine?

Thanks for your help guys!

I don't see any problem using a 6" net pot rather then a 3", but it wont make ur plant bigger. The 5 gallon bucket is its grow space, the net pot just supports the plant so it has a place sit and let the roots hang. As for germinating, just get it to sprout, drop it in the net pot, surround it with hydroton, put it in the system and turn it on. Least thats what works for me.

they are custom orders they connect each unit has a pressure valve to control spray pattern they are as simple as lego"s 1 system 600 watts a lb harvest :)
Any chance of some pictures of the system? Noticed some on the containers you can see in the pictures you have posted in the various threads look suspiciously like the "strong box totes" http://www.homedepot.com/p/HDX-27-Gal-Strong-Box-Plastic-Storage-Tote-in-Black-and-Yellow-207585/202328879?N=5yc1vZc89 Regular PVC tubing? Just curious.

How about using modern English, posting links to the products you are boasting, and forming cognitive sentences!
