Just google outdoor marijuana grow tutorial. You have to grow with the seasons, depends on the area you live.

My advise...

* pick one strain
* buy lots of seeds
* Except that some plants will die
* Don't spend a lot on nutrients
* Before you try an "advanced technique," master the basics
* Learn the ins and outs of your strain
* have fun. :)

Good advice.

Do not over water! Nearly everybody does the first time around. Good soil from the start will go a long way towards a successful and "easy" grow.

read read and read some more. There is so much good info on this site.

And one final thing, don't use miracle grow. Also making a grow journal will most likely make your life a lot easier

The number one best advice anyone can give you, bar none isssss DO NOT TELL A PERSON !!!!, sounds crazy I know but that is the best advice. All the rest is trial and error, reading, experimentation, etc.. Second best advice which is arguable Have Fun. So good luck, and remember to share with those less fortunate.

if you have bagseeds start them now, the season already started. read the stickies theyre at the top of each page of each section in the forum. and also be VERY careful about where you plant if its not your property, all your hard work can be taken in a day.

A few of random tips that I learned the hard way.
1. Make sure your plants are big enough when u plant them-- the smaller they are, the more chance they won't make it from the elements, about a foot tall is good.
2. Make sure your plot gets plenty of sun-- go several times thruout the day (and thruout the season) to check the sun patterns. The more sun the better.
3. Don't plant too early-- wait 'til (at least) the last average frost date for your area. If the ground is cold they won't grow hardly anyway, and u take the chance of early flowering, and they're exposed to the elements longer, and if there's not much natural vegetation yet, your plants will be very obvious early munchies for the animals.
4. Protect your plants from the critters-- I lost 9 plants (so far) to deer this season. 5 had been flourishing for 3.5 weeks. It was heart breaking. I'm picking up some chicken wire today.
5. Start your plants inside in early spring (or earlier) and grow twice as many as u think u want-- u probably will lose some.
6. Use clones if u can, so u don't have to do all that work 4 males.

Hope this helps and good luck!
