First time bud rot

Hi guys got a case of bud rot for the first time on two of the buds on one of my plants. I removed the rotten bits, but left the rest of the bud. I’m about 3-4 weeks from harvest; trichomes are still clear.

Shall I cut the two buds out completely? Will the not mouldy part of the bud be smokeable?

Any help appreciated

I strongly recommend removing all bud that had any rot, once you cut out the rot you can make hash from the rest of the bud.
yes - you can smoke the non-moldy bud, it might taste like shit though. The mold itself is non-toxic, it's the same stuff that grows on grapes.

If you see more rot, be aggressive about bud & branch removal.

Snip all the rot off the plant, then spray areas close by with H2O2.

And any harvested bud should have a bath in H2O2 water.

Check close for bud worms. Lots of time the rot starts from the worm shit.
