So the deal is I'm an old dog tryin to learn a new trick I've used pistils to determine harvest for years now with my fancy microscope I'm using the thrichromes on an average measure throughout the plant they are 7 % amber 15 % cloudy and the rest clear my plants are 63 day flowers and have just over 2 weeks till 63 days or so I know this is just a general guideline and not in stone but for the experienced person would u say this time frame is ok to expect or less more considering the maturity of the thrichromes mind you I'll be checking regularly now but if you could give me a guideline this would be great please and thank you sincerely a lonely old man growin Mary Jane for personal use happy smoking everyone

10% amber, mostly cloudy, as few clear as possible.

amber color represents the degradation of THC into CBN, cloudy is at peak potency, and clear is premature.

not sure if that's what you were asking for, but yeah there ya have it

So you're really at Day 49? And you have mostly clear? I think you have a ways to go. I don't think that 7% amber is accurate…I don't think you could have 15% cloudy, 78% clear and then also have 7% amber. Something's off.

If they're 63 days, then I'd count this way: Flip+2weeks for transition, THEN the 63 days. So at 77 days from the day you flip, check the trichomes.

Interesting.. I can see how you can have some clear and some amber and cloudy. Im a fan of partial harvests because I know that some of the lower sections are not ripe enough so you get a mix...

I dunno, I dont just rely on gland color, I kinda look at the pistils too, and I do a quick dry sample for a friend of mine for testing.. I like her opinion her tolerance is way higher than mine..

Im not a big fan of timetables.. so many things can affect flower time.

Lastly gotta throw this in there.. if you think its ripe.. wait another week then harvest.
