ok right, i keep the oscilating one up top on all day, off at night
a stright blowing fan on the floor on 24/7 that i move up top at night when the other is off

then i can have a decent vent out with fan, which should create enough flow out since i wont have much of an input but ambient air from the cracks and when i open closet, that should work.

Just a heads up, but man your growing w/T5's why is it so hot? I grow in a 3.5' x 4' x 9' closet w/large CFLs, as many as 20 and use 2 small fans, I have no heat issues, but I grow aero-hydro, so the roots are usually around 65 degrees, but just vent out w/bigger fan

probably cuz the temp deal is so close to the light. its on the soil in the pot

and i really have no exhaust/intake to cool the ambient air is the deal basically im guessing.

Well my closet can get as hot as 92 degrees, my gals have to endure it I guess, besides the closet door is louvered, maybe thats why I can keep them cooled..During veg I run my lights 24/7.....let me think about it sum more

yea so far i havent topped over 92f at night with my fans on. however come summer, in a month or two im gonna have to probably move them outside if i dont come up with a decent vent and cooling system.

my buddy had suggested getting some drywall, and making a false wall behind my closet doors, and put a hole in that drywall on either side for intake and exhaust just into the space between the door and false wall...not sure how well of an idea that is.

Perhaps a louvered door like mine and hang your fans on the louver slats w/hooks like I do

thats lookin like what im goin to do. buy a spare closet door and cut a vent hole in the door closest to my sliding door. and hook a fan to that for exhaust. no intake, just an oscillting fan blowing ambient air in the top of the closet

been doin some rearranging and research. ive prepared a garden plot outside. im gonna veg till mid april on 18/6 lighting.

would something like this be good to put in my closet to get rid of smell, and circulate some air?

http://www.amazon.com/Hydropronic-Inline-Carbon-Filter-Control/dp/B002ZJNW1S

it wouldn't necessarily be the proper ventilation intake/exhaust exactly right? but would it work, like set it in the corner or in top shelf?

as i understand it, that unit would inhale air thru the one end, the black end, and would spew out clean filtered air from the other end. i dont need to hook it into any duct work do it? im looking for a kinda floor setup without ductwork.

also, heres a video i just made of the setup real quick.

decided not to make any big purchase just yet.

got some ONA gel. and some fly/gnat/bug paper. i seen a few flyin small things....they must suffer and die.

weve drawn up plans and such to create an exhaust from the closet.

in the future i am goin to get that carbon tube and the blower deal but now im going cheap simple.

if i at least get this hole in my cvloset hook up a basic exhaust and blwo out thru dryer duct. this allows me to later get the inline fan and carbon tube, and hook up to this exhaust system.

so something for the immediate concern, while preparing it and investing for a future buy.

my buddy is going to buy this for me for right now, so its kinda free...ill take it. were gonna install it up. as a temporary exhaust solution

Maximum Air Volume (CFM) : 70

i know 70cfm isnt enough.....but for the time being gettin the vent basics setup in place allows me to expand later.
