Ok so just started flowering my first plants kind of scared that i flowered to early and i might of produced male/female wanted some imput on bloom room. Right now its two 600w hps with just a 6 inch 450 ctf fan exhausting outside with a few inch inlet to pull in new air. 6 18 gallon totes with 1 1/2 drain tubes to a 50 gallon res. fed with a 640 gph sump pump to 1/2 drip lines. Got a pic of the room with the 6 plants and close up of colas maybe someone can tell female or hermy. any imput appricated. I use RO water and calmag/bloomfx/ammino acids/hydrozmye and the grow/ micro/ and bloom at 1/4 strength per gallon as directed. This plant seems to burn realtively easy comepared to the other plants i started i had to decrease the strength each time i flush2012-10-10 21.29.56.jpg2012-10-14 20.25.45.jpg2012-10-14 20.25.54.jpg2012-10-14 20.27.44.jpg

Ok so these were seeds from some amsterdam site that were supposed to be fem all the time so i was wondering if i flowered to early chances are i might of made a hermy? the plant seemed bushy not really streched like a male. Need to get clones next time. Do you think water temp should be managed in res im thinking that is what is causing my plants symptoms of ph balance issues

5.8 is the magic number for most hydro set UPS man. How often do you change your res? Any signs of algae? That will screw up a ph. And yes, res temp will grow algae, and other harmful bacteria.
Nice set up though bro.

No algae yet and every two weeks i change the res. Room temp runs into the low 60's and the res sits on concrete so im wondering how cold res temps can be might hit around 50 in res? and thank you! hard to see all my babys are fucking males. im just hoping its a hermy because i flowered them to soon and my other clones will flower just fine if i let them veg longer. any ideas ? or just chopp and get clones asap?

Low temps can lock out P. Do you see any purple in the new growth or upper stems? I see curling in the leaves is why I ask. As for the other... Some one with more experience than I could help you better.

In hydro low res temps is something they shot for .now that being said there is a point that it is to cold.i haven't run hydro for a while but i think 67 degrees is perfect or is the temp where the nute uptake is at it's best.

Res temps in hydro can go as low as 58 F which is pretty cold so res being to cold is usually not a issue, the colder the water the more D/O and less likely for pathogens to be in the water. Also just because you buy FEM seeds doesn't mean they are guaranteed fem's just means your % of fem's are higher you can still have males in the batch just less likely. Ph issues are more likely from higher res temps, my res's stay in the low to mid 60's and my ph is solid now a slight upward ph swing is normal when plants are feeding correctly (not talking about .5-1 point in 24 hours) gradual up swings are good ph drops are usually accompanied to root rot and pathogens in the water.

Ok yes there are small patches of purple on some of the stems and one the plant doing the worst it has more purple. So guessing the waters dropping in the 50's or maybe lower? PH doesn't swing at all i make the ro water usually days before using and its always the same i account for the gradual swing up with very small doses of calmag. keeps the PH constantly about 6.0 i just dont use alot of calmag to try and lower it more. My PPM are around 400-450 anything more and these plants seem to burn.

Dude where is your res? Can't be in your room, res temps shouldn't be much different than room temp.
