So I've started prepping my PC Box (1' x 1' x 0.5') and have gotten the materials to begin the process, but I have many questions, hoping to provide a guide for anyone in the situation like mine. I have never grown before, but occasionally followed grow logs and I've seen many PC Builds pop up on here so I'm hopping in. Yes, I'm a little late but my goal is to have 10grams in the end.
My BIGGEST CONCERN is SMELL. I have others living this house and I want smell to be ZERO. I have purchased carbon and will ghetto something together, but I want to know if there's a better way.
Next on my list is strand... I am planning on LST'ing them, so does it matter if I go with a short plant or is it just preference? I was thinking about getting Blue Cheese but it seems (on paper) that it's pretty potent smelling. Is there a strand out there that's strong in smoke and subtle in smell (total newbie here)?
Last concern is lighting. Can I just grab normal 23w CFL's from home depot and throw 'em in? I plan on having 3, I'm trying to keep energy costs at minimum also, so maybe the strand should be chosen with that in mind?
I just want the best bang for my buck and just to have some fun. I was thinking about getting 2 plants, LST'ing them toward each other from opposite ends of a 2.5/3l pot.
I don't like posting pics for security reasons, but I'll get some up when I finish prepping the box. I still think I need to drill some holes and I'm going back and forth on ventilation ideas.
