First time grow!! 130w cfl

so this is my first time,
i have 2 65w cfl bulbs, one blue one red, in the middle of my 2 plants. i like to keep them about 3in away from the bulbs. being this is my first time i asked the guy i was buying them from how to feed and water and he told me to feed the nuets once a week (then found out i should do it every other watering). so after i get them i put them in my box on 24 hr for one day and watered with tap water the next day and the day after that i noticed some leaves were turning yellowish and the edges were turning a brown color. it was kinda blochy though not just stricky to the edges.
i have the plants on 12/12 now and its 9pm to 9am. and the first time i watered was with tap about 11 or 12 oclock id say. this morning i was up around 7am so i figured i would get my stuff done right? so i trim a couple leaves (3-6) and water with the neut mix i got. and i read up today and i think that was a bad idea to water so close to the time the light turns off?
also the leaves are getting a little worst and i bought a thermostat. its a low of 70 and a high of 84 humidity im not sure about right now but ill update after work.
ill try to post pics and if anyone can tell me what i can do or what you think the leaf problem is that would help thanks. ill try to keep updated.

check your ph, bro. and never feed new plants nutes until you know they havent been fed previously. its best just to chill for a week and see how it does and go from there.

humidity is way too high also. add fans and an exhaust fan.

how big are the plants are you letting them dry out in between waterings and definetaly check your ph normally straight tap water is to high of a ph

i know the town im in has really "hard" water but i need to get a ph meter somewhere...?

took these this morning (about 8:00am) 1 hour before the lights go out for 12 hours. tell me what you think
my buddy said it needed some magnesium and that the pots might be a little small so he gave me some of both haha. my old pots were almost the same size but maybe 3 gallon less. help me out guys i want the chronic dank nugs hah

alright so i have this little ph tester its liquid and a vial go to atlantishydroponics.com costs like 8 bucks. try flushing it get all those old nutes out of there then start with a light feeding. but you want to flush with some ph balanced water and flush it with double the size of pot 3 gallon pot 6 gallons flush. and when you feed it try give it like half the recomended amount of some calmag with your light feeding.

alrighty so the plants seems to maybe be a little better cause the leaves are now just green with those brown dry spots. im gonna go get a ph tester today and flush them when the light turns on at 9pm. is that really all you think it is?

do you really think the light is the issue? i just got some ph tester and im keeping it in the 5.0 to 6.0 range and i watered with just ph water last night and this morning i didnt notice too much change. could it be something else or just need more time to come back? also im gonna water tonight but i was wondering if i should just do ph water again or give full dose of nuets or half or smaller or what?

i use the same nutes you need some cal-mag from gen hydro

so i was looking at the pics more and it looks like a magnesium deficiencey. are your leaves crispy and curled up? if so use a foliar cal-mag spray or just feed it with some cal-mag it should come back

alrighty. i been trying different things for my plants and nothing i do changes either plant. i watered 2 times not with nothing but ph water so today ill get some mag and use my nuets. should i just follow the table on the back of the nuet bottles or anyone have a bettter mixture?

so last night i fed them with the neuts and some cal mag my buddy gave me. this morning when i looked i didnt see anything better.
this is what they look like now it seems to get worst no matter what i do. could i have just stressed them too much by taking them from my buddies and putting them in my box without letting them adjust? i just put them on 24/7 for one day and then 12 12 when i bought them. i was told that could have stressed them out.
