First time grow and nerves about harvesting....My plant trichomes

  • are milky but only see (just noticed today) maybe a total of five to eight amber colored ones..... I have already flushed two days ago.... now wondering if I wait till I see a few more before putting it to night/dark for 48 hours or should I start right now.... because I don't know how fast do trichomes change to amber once they are milky... ( ? ) .... are they going to change fast over night and 48 hours be too long ?

My second question is should I leave the circulating fans running while it sits in the dark or will this cause the buds to dry out quicker since I stopped watering...?....

what strain are you growing? got a pic? i think you have plenty of time. don't stress. how are you looking at your trichomes? are you on schedule according to the breeder instructions? there's a ton of variables but don't feel like you are on a tight window. i keep an exhaust fan going in my dark space. i think it's always good to exchange the air. a couple of days with no water will be just fine.

You shouldnt flush you should stop all nutrients the last week minimum my preference last 10 days ,3 or 4 waterings of straight tap water I put a gallon threw 5 gallon buckets 4 times before harvest

It's a ruderalis/indica/sativa ( La Beila Afrodita ) by Delicious...... I'm using a 100Xmic but unable at this time to get a clean clear pic. They say it's a 66 day harvest time and I'm sitting at 63 as of today.....Your right , It would I guess be smart to always have a good air flow. I wish I could shoot a pic to you but no can do --- what would you do ....? Thanks

typically i have found the breeder instructions to be roughly close. with autoflowers i've seen more variation. you'll hear and read lots of stuff about flushing at the end of a grow. personally i don't flush at all because i go organic in soil and don't use a lot of nutes. i have about 10 magnifiers and a stereo microscope and it's still kind of hard for me to get the light right to see how cloudy and amber things are. how are your fan leaves looking? i'd probably let it go a week and then do your 2 days of dark. i'm sure it's about good to go and you'll be fine no matter what you do at this point.

feel good that you did it! you got them to grow and you're ready to harvest! good for you!
