First time grow (Autos)

So I'm 10 days in on my first grow and have already made a few rookie errors, I'm hoping after bought a few things and hitting the forums I havent stunted them to much as they are still quite young.

I started off with a very cheap and basic set up which ended up leading to stretching and one night of 95% humidity, I have a few pics of what I started with so I'll only list what I have currently set up.

Tent 1m x 1m x 2m
200 w cfl middle spectrum
Sf2000
2 extractors. one pumping air in from a smaller tent with a dehumidifier and the other pulling out through a rhino hobby
2 fans

3g Fabric pots with 70% biobizz light 20% coco and 10 worm castings
I plan to use living soils dry amendments but purchased a liquid biobizz just in case

From dinafem I have 3 moby xxl and got a free cheese xxl
Also have 3 pinapple autos(2 in one pot as an experiment)

7days after sprout I also done a northern lights as i was sure I had stunted and tbh the NL also had some dry am... added in before germination so it looks great for 3 days old

The pineapples are 8 weeks and xxl's are closer to 80 days so my plan is to give the pineapples the space and key spot under the lights and when they come out give the xxls their final 3 weeks with more space.

Also plan on using the smaller tent to dry in.

I know that has been a meaty read but any pointers or advice on my plans or the pics would be great.

Thanks! 17 reviews for the amendments on amazon want really that inspiring lol, but worth a try, I'm growing autos as I'll be hopefully moving house in december/January so growing and a dry would fit in that schedule

So? Unless there is some reason to grow auto's like a short outdoor harvest, mid-summer harvest, Sticking a couple in a veg tent, or some kind of staggered harvest there is no reason to grow auto's indoors. Photo's will be better genetics. I've grown auto's. Photo's are better for newer growers as you're able to recover before flower if there are issues early on. It seems like newer growers see the word auto and assume they're easier to grow. What happens all too often is they have problems from the beginning, plants get stunted, and they end up with tiny floweruin g plants.

You're plants look nice but you would have a better quality end product with photo's.

I 100% agree mate, just ticked more boxes to use autos at this point, I also bought a photo og kush to try cloning from abta later date after the wee auto garden

Now that's a reason to grow auto's but you could as well have grown photo's and flipped to 12/12 and still harvested in January. What happens if you end up with auto's that don't start flowering on their own as many have been experiencing and have to flip to 12/12 anyway and it's the middle of November?

Pay an extra months rent on this house till I got dried, could transport in the jars, but your points are hitting home lol, but generally the autos finish in a timely manner according to reveiws

I understand your reasoning but you can finish photo's just as fast as auto's. Regardless, good luck with your grow and enjoy your new home. :blsmoke:

Thanks mate! Taking everything onboard and hopefully you will pop up after new year for some pointers on photos!

The reviews are bullshit

I havd never had an auto finish on the timline the bank claimed. All of them took weeks longer.

Seems I let that canadian guys yt channel whisper sweet nothings in my ear!

I'm not looking for monster yields, just enough to see me through the winter lol and according to the guru's organic autos aren't that bad?

If they are grown right sure. They can be great. My point is newbies always fuck up. Autos have a very specific time clock. Each fuck up is a loss of yield that cant be recovered.

Photo period plants you can fuck up and just extend time when needed.

Autos flower when either they're clock says to or stress induces it earlier which is even more of an issue for newbies. Autos need pin point accuracy to grow in a way that makes people want autos.
