first time grow hows it looking

this is my first grow and id like to get some input. this plant came from a bag seed my friend gave me. i have also ordered and received fem seeds so this is basically my "experiment" plant so i dont screw up the good stuff. heres the specs. i have it under a hydrofarm 2 foot jump start t5 ho light for now. temps at night range from 67-69 degrees while day time temps range from 71-75 degrees. i mist the plant 1 to 2 times a day and im on 18/6 lighting the plant is about 8-9 inchs tall now. any comments or suggestions would be appreciated much thanks.

dont mist if/when you put it under an HID.

and hows it looking? im a very impatient person so just knowing its looking ok would be a relief ha

I cant see any pics.... And you dont mist because it could magify the light and burn the plant. Also if the water gets on the bulb it could crack.

The water drops on your leaves will magnify the light and burn your plant. i mist mine only when in veg right before the lights go out. and looks like your doing good for now. good luck with your grow.

thanks for the tips i dont believe it shows in the pictures but i do have little yellow spots on 2 of the leaves so that would definitely explain it i just thought it was nute burn. and as far as the light cracking goes i would have never thought of that. but hey i guess you learn soomething new everyday and in my case i just learned like 3 new things in 5 minutes ha. much appreciated to all

oh and i also take it outside some days to get some fresh air so would misting be applicable there?
