ok, that is very helpful. . so you think this type of discoloration is due to mal nutrition? any recommendations on a good fertilizer or something i can do in between now and picking some up?

no ive been really careful not to get anything on the leaves when watering.

ive got like a bundle of stuff from advanced nutrition voodoo juice, b52, big bud, and overdrive. would any of that help?

those are all additives to add to a complete fertilizer wait until you get some. they need food not additives do you have worm castings?.

yes...yes.... it would appear this is the problem. i read somewhere preparing this mix with perlite would be sufficient. i guess this is not the case. am i doomed? should i burn down the grow tent and start over? what would u do in my position?

Dont go in panic!

I get this most of the time the first 2/3 weeks in veg then I know that the ones who get this symptoms is gonna be my monster plants lool

I grow in coco so I see this more often.

1 gram per gallon of epsom salt with nutes start with 1.2 ec and check from there.

You can also foliar feed but the roots is best.

Make sure you deliute ur epson pretty well, if you have wetting agent use it with the nutes mix in very little quantatity just to melt the salts or if u have drip clean use it.

Hope this helps and keep us updated.

Those symptoms should stop and see new normal growth.

One more thing, on such forums you will hear alot of crap answers and alot is not even related (no offense to any body).

Use ur logic and have patience, becouse thats the start of probleems which you will see alot during thier journy.

If everytime you think you burn them and start all over, you aint going no where!

Got it. good to know they will be survivors! What basic nutrient mix do u recommend?
I never grow in soil so I dont know honest whats good or not, I have 3 bags of light mix i attend on using soon!

May I know whats your PH in soil? What is the usual ph used with nutes is soil?

When it comes to coco I have used canna / house and garden with great results also bloombastic for flowering

Update. I added a product called Pure Blend Pro as my liquid nutrient, and Cal-Mag Plus as the magnesium supplement per the suggestion. Added a little less than a teaspoon per gallon of water of each and fed. There has been a big noticeable change in growth, but the discoloration continues although more slightly on the new leaves that are growing in. Is it just a matter of waiting it out and continuing the supplements or is it something else maybe?

I have 4 plants. I used epson on two plants, and Cal- Mag on the other two.

Not sure what start water ppm means but i took a gallon jug and put a gram of epsom and teaspoon of feed into one.
in the other i put a teaspoon of cal mag and a teaspoon of feed.

i dont have an EC meter but ill order one.

Def greener and a lot bushier.
