First Time Grow. MOC Carnival

Hello, all!

I'm trying to figure out if I'm on the right track for growing the MOC Carnival strain. If anyone is familiar with this one, let me know. I feel like this should be flowering by now but it is not. No threads but it's still growing more leaves everyday. It's very green and healthy looking.

Growing specs:
Soil
Day 34
About 15" tall
400 watt HPS bulb
about 36" to light
Closet is about 2' x 4'.

Thanks for any feedback you can provide.

If you have 36" from the top of your plant to the lights, you can veg a little longer. I always plan on my plants at least doubling in height once I start 12/12.. you have a little more veg room, but you can flower now if you need too.

Lookin dope bro, I wouldnt start flowering just yet, but if you have very limited space then go ahead. You should check out LST or SCROG, they are good methods for people with limited space. I'm doing it on my current grow if you'd like to see its in my signature. Other thats your plant is doing great, keep up the good work. Happy growing! :bigjoint:

Thanks for the feedback. I agree that she could veg some more. But this may be a dumb question; will this girl begin flowering or do I make her start flowering? My friend from whom I inherited the grow did autoflowering strains and in reading these responses, I guess that means hers started flowering on their own whereas with Carnival, I'll have to start the flowering. How do I do this?

When you want your plant to begin flowering, put your lights on a 12/12 schedule.. 12 hours on and 12 off.

Day 47... 8 days on 12/12 light pattern.
She's about 26" tall
Very small threads
She's on nutrients. Ionic Bloom alternating with straight water each watering.
bottom leaves are a bit droopy and I'm seeing no threads on the lower stems.

How am I looking? God, I'm too new at this...

They look pretty good there candy...if anything maybe a touch overwatered.. let em dry out a little, at least the droopy one. Don't worry about being new at this, you'll learn a lot and be a pro before you know it
