First time grow Slow growth issues????

I know the fixture was on sale at k-mart down from 25 i think. And the bulb was a double back T12 the cheapies, but it was 5000k which was close enough, plus I was gonna be putting them under an hps anyways for the rest of veg and flower (dont have an MH). But it all worked fine. PLUS they dont put out any heat, the T12's, so If my plants were touching the bulb it didnt matter. So i didnt have to worry about moving it up untill they were growing into the light. Worked great for me! Some people say T12's suck but for the beginning stages, i think they are perfect for the delicate little babies, and perfect for you because they are less worry!

thats very true. its what stores around here use for their plants on display. most are all grown into the light fixtures without browning or yellowing spots.

Hey guys have now bought myself a 125w blue cfl how far shall I keep it from the top of my plant??

Cfl's can be placed close to the plant 2"-5"
I didn't catch what kind of dirt that's a great
possibility too!

Ok so heres my update so far Bought my cfl 125 and installed it and already I think I can see an increase in growth speed or it might just be my wishful thinking
