they are lookin good to me... how old are your plants? were they clones or started from seed? cuz if they were started from seed your plant wont be mature enough to force into flower untill about 3-6weeks old.. but it also depends on the strain...good luck

the youngest are three weeks, the oldest are five weeks. all from seeds. i have lowriders and white widows. i also had some bag seeds going. those are five weeks. i just want to flower because of space issues.

Yeah, your go big or go home thing isn't working right now. Those plants are going to get HUGE. Like not trees, but with how many you have, you're going to have a jungle of 3-4 foot tall plants. AND you are only using cfls. If space and heat is an issue, you can't go balls out. Instead, play it safe. Go out, buy yourself 2 600w HPS lights. with how many plants you have, 250w's and 400's are NOT going to give you the light penatration that you need, and if you want to yield more than 14 grams a plant, than you might want to do that soon. otherwise, you should cull some of the weaker plants, narrow your grow down to about 5-8 good plants, spread them out, and yield a couple of ounces off of them. It's up to you.

To have a successful grow room, your plants need plenty of room to grow (that means no crowding plants, they need like 10 inches beween each other for good light penetration and air flow) medium temps (with a room that small you're going to have heating issues for sure. You might want to go a slightly cheaper route and get T-5 flourescents. Good sturdy lights, your plants can almost reach out and touch the lights without it burning them, better light penetration than CFLs, and you don't get the heat issues, plus you save on electricity. Also: Get your plants out of the 2 liter soda bottle. If you run out of pots to plant in, that's a good sign that you should save your seeds and stop planting.

Your plants are looking really good. Compare them to mine that are about 3 weeks old. I'll update pics on monday, the pics in there now are a week old, but basically they are about the same size. The difference is that you don't have the space for them (heigth wise) to get 3 feet tall. Look into Uncle Ben's topping technique so that you can get that under control. I'm letting my white widows grow out another 3 more weeks until I switch them to 12/12, but I have a room 9 feet tall to work with. Just a suggestion. Remember what I said about the heating issues as well. Normal fans can't combat a HPS in tiny space. Look into getting a squirral cage fan and installing that into your closet space if you do choose to use HID Lights. Just use anything but cfls

Things are looking alright for cfl but i would go alittle easier on the nutes. They look to be alittle stressed. when the leaves are really dark green and start to curl then you know they are stressin. You should try and save come money and invest in a 400w before flower or else you will wish you had. Check out E-conolight website for some really cheap HID options. You can get a 150w HPS for like $20

go get the 2 bulb shops lights if you can they work better lower you light about 3 inchs over your plants the light spectrume is shit on cfls you might want to hit up craiglsit and score a 400 of 600 hps fpr flowering its a smart call then move your cfls on the side to beff up you bottom branches. hit them supper hard in the end of flowering with flower hardener if you plan on usein the cfl to flower.. good luck

for some reason I can't see any of the newer pic you have posted...hmmm. Sounds good though, Bryguys advice was perfect. Eliminate a few weakies and stragglers. Up your light to some HID and learn the basics of nutrients, ph, temps and humidity, watch your light height and things are gonna turn out real good for you, that's what this community is for, helping along the way :) I am also a first timer, about 3 weeks into veg, the people on this site have helped me out alot! I think this is the true go big or go home first grow though https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/317378-first-grow-soiless-mix-og.html no offense man, take care and keep askin questions.

36 plants in 3 gal pots with 4 1000 watt hid, strain og kush, is goin pretty big for the first time, IMO. Thats what I'm doin, I saved up for awhile, spent around 2 thousand. LOl I'm not braggin, in fact I feel like im in over my head some days haha. Your brave though, I'd never fuk with hydro first time, I went soilless, easy to control nutes and ph, easy to water, I don't know a thing about hydro yet. Honestly HID is the only way to really grow pot, i mean cfl will NEVER ever give you even close to the quality or yield you get with HID. You can go get urself a 1000 watt setup or 2 600 watts(best bet) for under 500, just remember, your yield increase will be HUGE and you'll get your money back, borrow it if neccessary, trust me. Anyways I saw the pics now, good stuff sofar, I'll stay tuned in but check my grow out, I'm going to update with a new pic right now... `~ciao
