First Time Grow: ULTRA NOOB--HELP NEEDED!!!

Hello this is my first grow...I'm already 2 weeks in and things arent looking too good...I'm growing 1 Blue Mystic, 1 Afghan Kush and two bag seeds..I'm hoping that you subscribe and can help me out throughout this grow.

About 3 days ago my plants were as green as can be but now the BM and AK are fully yellow with brown spots all over...i'll have pictures later but i'm sure that yall can picture it..any help on this problem??

did you use the tabs that came with the ag?
if so, were they labeled as the "Starter Tabs" or the small / large ones?

use the starter tabs and break one in 1/4, drop it into the distilled (or bottled) water and allow it to dissolve first. Then use that 4L of water to refill the res. (empty the water that you have in there out!)

I take it you are using tap water now (or have used some).

I'd empty the res, and refill it with clear Bottled water just above the fill mark. Let the plants recover for about 4 days, then add the 1/4 starter as mentioned above. Slowly go up from there till you have used 2 full sized tabs. After which perhaps change to your own nutes..


i found that my grow Nute (Not AG Nute) was initially too strong for my babies..

ahhh i see, complete idiot mistake on my behalf....I read that over and over again on this site and when time came to do it...i forgot....but I changed the water in the rez and added just some plain distilled water with a ph of about 5.7 and the plants are growing and some leaves look as if they are recovering...but some look too far gone...should i clip some of the leaves off??

Let's see a pic of your Blue Mystic. the one that I am growing in Soil looks 100% unique to the one that I am growing in my AG. I'll put up pics of them tonight to compare..I'd like to see what yours looks like as well.

well the new growth looks good man, cut off those burned leaves, and make sure your pH is at 5.7 - 5.8 and you should be good, is you keep it in line your plant should get better, then you can slowly add some nutrients.

sounds good thanks, I clipped the bad leaves off and the ph is 5.8 right now so i'll keep that in check...also

1. how much are those air pumps that yall use and what else would i need with that?? the air stones and what??

2. how do i know when to switch to 18/6?

You should be on 18/6 now to Veg, and the air pump and stone should be like 20 bucs for boh

Great I switched to 18/6 2 days ago, all 4 plants are doing well one...about to do a rez change right now and new pictures of all four plants will be up shortly :D

also, should i put some nutes in the new water?? i'm planning on doing so...
