first time grow under cfl urgent help needed

hi guys i need some help with my 2 and a half week old seedling iam currently growing it in seed raising mix with three cfls over it 5000k and two 2500k lights witch hang around 5 inches from the plant i have a fan that blows a light breeze over the top of the plant iam currently using a 18/6 light cycle and temps around 29 degrees celcius i water every 4 days or so with just plain tap water ph is 6.5 i have not fed the pant any fert yet i woke the other morning to find brown dying leaf tips on evry single leaf even the new growth has it aswell as brown tips down the sides of the leaves i dont wanna loose my plant what can i do 2 try fix the problem i think it may be getting worse any help guys would be appreciated thanks !!!

ya you got an early stage calcium def, you can try using epsom salts which is sold at many stores world wide. Do a little research about it and your babies will thank you for it.

Your plants are pale green all over !! Seedling mix had a very low EC. Your plants are low on N and that's all. It's not cal/mg, especial at this stage. 29C is too high and maybe ur RH is too low for veg. Start with half strength veg notes now. Do not overwater as no nutes will be absorbed.


Be careful whose advice out take as it is quite clear a lot of people don't know what they're talking about!! Find some good growers on the site. The buds do the taking so look in different sections.

he has the beginning of a cal def also you fool, most cal mag supplements have nitrogen also.

possibly depending on wether or not your potting soil is higher in macro/micro nutrients but that would only be a temperary fix as your plants will use all of them up.

i gave my leaves a squirt with some espom salts last night do u think some nitrogen will help my plant as it has haf no nutes yet i dont wanna loose this plant

ya id get some vegetive nutrients, many good brands out there, and most of the time the base nutes cover a wide range of nutrients so you dont have to fuck around wih other nutes most of the time.

What kind of seedlings mix??Don't use it again:).I would transplant to better soil.what kind will u use?switch your lights around 1 2700k and 2 5000k,do a 20/4 light schedule.Using 6.5ph tap is good Imo.Your nute prob im not sure about but def N deficient.PEACE.

Embarassing, your a god damn fool. Your raging over the internet about growing a plant, the idea of that alone makes me think your social life is pathetic. He obviously did not read your post and instantly go "everyhing i need right here" you stated he had a nitrogen def and told me i was wrong when obviously he has a calcium deficiency. most times if someone has an issue like that then there tends to be more than one deficiency, i have no clue why you think im copying the shit you said as im obviously not you fucking child. ive probably grown better weed than you have, which i might add iven had a multiple clubs buy and sell my shit topshelf? get your act together before coming in here and argue with someone probably half your age.

jist re read everything and i now think your more stupid than i could comprehend, he had asked about transplanting to his potting soil and like most potting soils it will have nutrients pre mixed and for plants of his size would probably use those nutes for a minute and give his plant some growth, i then stated it would be all used up, so what the fuck does that have anythig to do with your post about a low ec feeding? your a fool and you should stop stating that its not a calcium problem, calcium defiency runs hand in hand with other plant problems and is more of a problem and needs to be treated quick, nitrogenon the other hand rebounds quickly and doesnt cause necrotic spots WHICH DONT FUCKING COME BACK TO LIFE.

nice way to save face you originally said dude had a cal mag issue now your trying to say its also nitrogen. how much nitrogen does cal mag have? I got a bottle downstairs but I'm pretty damn sure its not enough to fix a nitrogen deficiency. not to mention a lot of nute brands have plenty of magnisium in them.
