First Time Grow With 7 Plants!

yo i just pull all my plant in the flowering room i got 8- 23w 2700k don't u love the indoor growing u can play god!! here are some pic's also in there right now

yo i just put all my plants all 8 into flowering stage its been 5 days into flowering i veg 4 plants for 5 weeks and 2 plants for 2 weeks in veg and 2 plants for 3 weeks

i got rid of that dam tin foil and replaceed it with tho emergance blankets dont hate of the spellin day 6 of flowering

Have to agree here its almost not worth it if you aren't using a HID light. You can pickup a 400w aircooled for arond $100-150 on craigslist and it'll only add $20 a month to your bill. You WILL not regret getting it though, I promise

HID is much better than CFL. But you can flower a good crop with CFLs. It's not like it's "not worth it". You can still grow quality buds with CFL its just not as good as HID, obviously.

Day 25 of flower using 2 CFLs on 5 good-sized plants(not by choice). I would recommend you break up that fixture you have and get those bulbs by themselves. Now you can begin surrounding your plants with light. You want each light to be 1-3 inches away from your plants. You will have to re-adjust them daily, possibly multiple times per day. But this is the price we pay for using weak lighting. Don't think it's not enough, though. It's just not ideal.

That being said, if you aren't in my position, and you have around 100 bucks to spend, I would highly recommend getting an HID setup. You can find one on craigslist for around 100 just about any day of the week. (at least where I'm from thats how it is). The investment is worth MUCH more than 100 bucks, for the amount of improvement you will see.

If you are like me though, and cash is THAT tight that you can't go out and drop a bill on a new light right now, don't get discouraged. Growing quality buds with CFL is NOT impossible. It's much more work and much more time consuming, but it can be done with great results. If you have any questions feel free to send me a message.

well with buying more light im kinda parnode a little becase i livin in apartment and i dont want the them to notice i dont pay for it but still...

it only been a couple of days since i put it into flowerin so ido have time to find some more lights i seen some 100w mh light bulbs that u can screw in to a normal fixture that about tho's

I think that may be perfect the whole different range of light spectrum thing is still a new development. People grew with HPS only for years bf Halide was even round and used to be like a thousand dollars. If you just get a 125 watt hps you'll have enough for a perfect small grow in a confined space. And no one will notice really people use so much electricity even in small apts. As for the lighting where is it now a closet? It looks pretty legit setup right now btw. I just know that sustained life of plants cannot be held under flourescents themselves the plants will eventualy develop problems, not in a typical grow til harvest but in raising mothers it isnt a good idea in the long run.

i have like 8-9 plants but i dont know the sex of them yet so im going to wait for some money toghter then ill think of getting some more lights thanks for the 5post ppl will keep it in mind and yea its in a 4ft x 5ft high x 2.5 in .

cfls work fine you just have to use them right, rule of thumb is have at least two cfls 2-3 inchs away from every plants canopy top tthen when they get taller put some cfls around the sides of the plants

nahh i already know the sex of my plant and i havnt even switched to 1212 yet
