First time grow with mr. Growpro

UPDATE:

No pics today but I just checked and she is doing good. The soil was pretty dry so I gave her a little water. I still don't know how much I should exactly be wateringher. She is 5 days old so I don't want to over water... Any ideas????

Yeh, my rule of thumb is to stick your finger into the soil, if it comes out dry... only then water her. When I water I tend to flood the soil pretty heavily, so that it's all draining out the bottom. Then just box her back up and check again in a 2-3 days time.

yupp i just o what mewk does or i dont know if this is such a good idea
but i heard it makes your roots work harder and absorbs the water better or whatever hahaha
ill water half of the initial amount in a circle around the plant from the outside in.then the other half an hour so later
could be complicated just for watering but i like to think it does something haha:peace:bongsmilie

DAY 6 UPDATE:

She is doing good not many changes except she really straightened out going for the light.

As for the sprout she is above ground gained on the older one looking really good.

Ok so first problem I have came across. I have been watering with this water and I think I effed up and didnt read there was other stuff in this water. The tips of the first and only set of leaves are yellow and the starter leaves are also yellow. So I'm assuming this water Is a no go?

The box is not at my house so I can't check it as much as I want but my friend checks twice a day and gives me reports. As I write this I realize that I should still have a bag over it for humidity right?

I watered her last night with some of that bottled water when I took these pics. I am going to buy a couple gallons of distiller water today just so I know it not the water I am giving here.

Also I am embarrassed to say I put the 27ks in first and didnt realize it until last night😭😭😭. I was in kinda a rush to set it all up I mixed the bulbs up like a jackass. Could that also be part of the coloring issue?

not likely. its getting used to the light you only need one till it gets a few sets of leaves. do you have a fan oscillating occasionally making the plant wiggle? this is important so it doesnt stretch up. The only reason to use distilled water is if you have hard water. Go over to your toilet and take the lid off the tank. Is there a large amount of scale build up or is it just a little tint? The less buildup the better your water is. Distilled water without nutes will leech the life out of your plant. So may other purified waters, the best route is the tap IMO

Just as a precaution, you may want to leave the water sit in an open container for 24 hours just to let any chlorine burn out.

Thanks for the responses guys, when I saw I had put the 27ks in my heart sank because I knew I effed up.
I also thought I was doing my girl a favor by giving her bottled water but I was wrong. I stil have alot of knowledge to gain if I want to do this right.

As for the tap water around here, I have heard that my county has some of the best water around here so I will be using that.

I have 3 fans in the box but they are all ventilation fans so I am trying to figure out a way to fit snot little guy in there but it's kinda cramped for space

Ok so I had my day count was messed up and today is DAY 7:

Ok so I posted in the sick plant section and everyone has different opinions on what's wrong.... Nute burn, light burn, over watering nothing is wrong.... So idk really what to do! But here is a pic of today

Hey md03gli! I'd say give it a couple days with the tap water as opposed to the bottled and see what happens from there? I'm still learning what the signs mean so I can't give an accurate suggestion but just the fact that it's growing has to mean something! Best of luck!

Don't sweat it Md. it's too early to be worrying. She's above ground n lookin for the light. Just keep those Cfls within an inch or two an sit back n marvel at nature. In a month so much will have changed n you'll be wondering what u were ever fussin about.

ya brotha dont even worry i just transplanted my girls and started worryinggg if i fucked up my roots and this and that and the other.or if i should of did something different,
its all a learning experience you do better and better everytime! :D
shes looking good so far just like mewk said she up and lookin for light. :D

Couple of pics from DAY 9

she is looking good today and looking a little greener too. She seems to be a slower starter as this is day 9 and u can just barely see the second set of leaves coming out.
