what i meant was.... when i add nutes, it brings the pH down to around 6.8-7.2 which is my target for soil... so I dont have to do anything else to it (big win for me and my plants) 6.0 would scare me but it depends on what you grow in. That's close to hydro range. ... a good pH down will probably be stable. how did you test your pH? was it an 8 from the tap or is that your runoff reading?
