First time grow

hello everyone. im a lil young but im interested in growing. i have already started and i fell as if im doing alright for a rookie but i wanted to get advice. constructive criticism is appreciated as it helps. i have a POOR grow room. its a box bout 5' by 5'(big box right lol) and it has white paper glued to it covering it for the humidity. both strains are purple haze. one of them are 3 weeks old and is about 5 inches tall and starting to form its first 5-bladed leaf. the leaves are a nice darkish green and it looks like a sativa being that the leaves are thin and small. the stem is thin and i cut the first two round leaves off because they were turning yellow. i have a 60 watt cool white incandescent bulb about 2" above it. its in miracle grow in a put about 3" wide and 5" deep. i water it about every other day in the morning or just when the top soil looks dry. My second plant is in the same type of pot and soil and has same amount of light(in its own container and has its own light though) but this one is 2 weeks old and is about 6” tall. Its leaves are big(around 3 inches long and about 1-2” wide). The stem is thick and it is forming its second pair of three bladed leaves but seems like this pair is turning out to be a 5-bladed leaf. Its not big enough to tell honestly. The smell on the 2 week old one is strong. They are both under a fan. The difference is when the 3 week old plant was a week it fell from my clumslyness and the stem broke. I reacted quickly and placed it in water to grow a new root. I placed it back in soil when the root was about an inch long and I placed it deep in. aside fron the smallness of the leaves and thin stem its growing at the same rate. If there is any other details you guys need please ask. Im sorry for my inability to post pictures but please bare with me. I have a few questions. I have not given it any nutes because its in mg and I don’t want to nute burn. From the details I explained of my 2 plants would you guys say they are turning out ok? Also how can I get the 3 week old plant to form bigger leaves like the two week old. Also I have seen many plants on here that have side branches but mine have no side branches. They have two leaves per node. Is that because of topping, fimming or LST or just good care? I will update this with questions and details as time goes on. Thank you to all those who help J

If you want good results your definetly gonna need some better lighting. Have you looked into CFLs? My first grow was with T12 floros and the results wern't very good to say the least. Slow growth and little to no side branching. Topping might help with light penatration, but if your looking to get some bud to smoke at the end of this, I strongly advise you get better lights. Wow, your using a incandescent bulb!? I'm surprised you got this far. Scratch that "strongly advise", you NEED to get better lighting. The plant uses very little if any light givin from incandescent bulbs.

Alright. Wat kind of cfl? Cool white? And how many wattages? Will i need a ballast or do they have cfls that I need that screw in like an incandescent bulb?

preferably cfls from both spectrums...warm light n cool day light ....no ballast for cfls man....they r cheap n easy to use...u just need some wattage..

and you should be aimin for wattage dat is actually say 50 watts per sq ft...if ur using cfls..the advantage is u have 2 plants right???so surround them wth all possible angles with cfls...wat bout ventilation...if u have sound ventilation..u can easily increase ur wattage...u need something to circulate air inside the grow room...air circulation is very very important...
