Just so we're all clear on all this talk of red and blue bulbs...we do not mean actually blue/red, like party lights or something...;)
I'd hate for somebody's bedroom to be glowing as red as a whore house, with the crappiest of plants inside! lol!

Plants look great what light spectrum are you using? 6500k for veg and 2700k for flower

I'm using 6 x 23 watt ( 97 watt ) Philips tornado Warm white C.f.l's. I just had a look at the box and it says it's 2700K , so that means I should be using these more for the flowering stage, right? If anybody has personal experience using these bulbs, I'd love to hear from ya. I might have to get rid of the smaller one and concentrate all the light at the last 3, anybody think that's a good idea?

Cheers for all the replies, you guys have been REALLY helpful :-)

Ha ha , don't worry, I understand that :-)
Going to go down to Woodies now, I'll see if they have any bulbs more suitable to the vegging period.

Ok so in Woodies I found ( in the exterior lighting section ) a par38 Daylight bulb. Would this be a suitable choice for vegging? They had a few other types ( infrared and a couple of others ) I didn't want to buy any without hearing from some of you guys first.

Also re-potted the plant in the clear pot. Think I may have stressed it out while doing so though... Looking fairly droopy...
Thinking of getting rid of the smallest plant and concentrating all the light at the other 3, anybody think that would be a good idea?

Got a thermometer , wardrobe is at about 74° during the day and I'll find out later what it's at during the night.

The cfl spirals you are using are good but 6500k is better for veg theyll grow bushy that way as to where they will stretch out much more under the 2700k. The 2700k is good for flower all you have to do then is switch bulbs and go to 12/12

I prefer a few 2700k thrown in my mix but I mainly stick to 6500k during veg. I have 6 6500k bulbs and 2 2700k.

UPDATE :

Decided to get rid of one of the plants, down to four plants and four lights. Till tomorrow that is...
Just a little idea for next time...don't throw out a young plant that's doing okay. A bunch of your other plants might die between now and harvest, and that little gal could have been a survivor. Also, a bunch of your other plants might turn out to be male, and that little gal might have been a female. You never know. So keep them all around for insurance. If when you switch to flowering they're all doing well and all female and you need to ditch one because of space, then say goodbye to the weakest one. But it's a long and winding road between now and then...

Had to get rid of one as it was in a pot with another. 1 is definitely female, I used both feminized and regular seeds. I was working at the head store and got a few fem's. Obsession , I believe is feminized. Gonna post some more pics.

Here's some pics from week 3 day 3 .

Ok, bought a different bulb . It's a par38 Daylight cfl. It says 23 watt which I presume means it's about 100 watts. Should this be ok? Should I get another bulb as soon as I can?

You definitely want to use more than that one use as many as you can fit in your space. A fan blowing accross them will keep the bulbs cool. Great looking plants btw.

You can pretty much keep putting lights in, keeping an eye on temps of course...more lights=more herb...;)

Decided to put the cfl's back in with the par38 daylight bulb. I kinda thought the par38 wouldn't suffice by itself. I also topped the tallest plant. Took a photo but it won't show up for some reason. This is week 4 day 2.
