First time grower, 8th week Critical Cheese AF

Well here's my 3 autoflower plants. The strain is critical cheese and this is week 8 today. I have my loupe coming in the mail should be here soon (desperately need to check trichs).

Plant 1:Very thick cola.
Plant 2:Nice looking all around.
Plant 3:The fucking giant... 3+ feet tall indoors while the others were about 2 feet. Stretched like crazy.

Just wanted some opinions because it's my first time growing. Started flushing a week ago. Anything I should work on?

if u flushed a week ago

then put them in a dark room for 48 to 72 hours and cut those babies down

u want to get them when the little hairs are milky.............u can hit any cvs or drug store and grab yourself a magifing glass(or urcle glasses) this way u can atleast get a general idea ( u want to go for milky as much as u can............. if u see ambering u are getting lower thc and more cbc and other medical goodies..............anything above 80 f is bad for the plant at this stage above 80 thc degrades quicker

once u cut her and hang them u want to keep humity controlled 45% is the best anything below 55% u are safe ................cureing it is a whole anouther topic so many ppl and ideas the best way u have to come up with yourself ......but the one thing they all agree on is burbing the jars every 8 to 12 hours (burbing means take the lid off let it stay open for 20 mins or so close it then repeating every 8 to 12 hours ) the lenght of time varies

I'm not going to give you any opinion on what to work on because obviously you've done your research and know what you're doing. The only thing you might want to work on is trying to NOT make the other first time growers look bad!
Could you give us some more details on how you started the plants and what lighting and such you used?
In any event, nice looking grow, check those trichs when you can, I'm sure they're close to being done!

That's my problem right now I don't have money for a scope, but have one coming in the mail. Do you think I will be fine until this monday?

Ill give you a quick rundown. I germinated the seeds in a damp paper towel in a bag for a few days then transplanted to little red solo cups full of fox farms ocean forest soil (used the whole grow) . I then put them under some cfl's for about 3 weeks on 24/0 and watered out of a spray bottle with about 6.0 ph. After that I transplanted them into 3 gallon containers and set them under a 400watt HPS light set on 18/6. Added some big bloom nutes for the next 4 weeks and flushed for a week. Now this is what they look like. Little more to it then that, but that's basically it. RESEARCH, TIME and PATIENCE = !!!!

can i ask what u were using anything like bud candy or something like that ............some of them have extra to slow degrading (they can effect taste)

place it in a cooler area .......that would slow down any degrade/growth untill u have time to verify ...................just rem if u have flushed u are to let the soil go dry then do the dark is how to flush ..........if u have already flushed u basically commited now to cut with in the next 5 to 6 days

when the fans yellow is when you start flushing a auto roughly 2 weks later the water leaves start to yellow then its done
those girls have 2-4 weeks left
perfect plants buddy but they still have a while
no need for the scope on a auto it tells you when its done
i figure 10 weeks on strains ive never grown and honestly most take 12-16 weeks

and just keep watering it give it some molasses
if you cut now you might end up with 1/4 the wet weight
if you let the trichs build up until its finished you might get closer to 1/2 of wet weight

i thought after the flush it was a huge no no to feed them anything ...........becuase u would have to redo the flush and it could push back the cut time and u get alot more ambers(couch locking)

flushing is only to be used to correct soil ph or over feeding/ cleaning it out for good smoke ..................u should aviod flushing the soil out except for the cleaning flush ....this is becuase u are basically drowning the plant and this will reduce the yeild and increase the time

if its in soil there is really no way to flush all the nutes out you can get most
he still has up to 4 weeks of budding he can just flush again or let the plant use up the residual nutes in the soil and just feed water the molasses is actually for microbes in the soil the plant feeds off of there waste after they process it
i flush in between grow and bloom nutes even though i still use some grow nutes with the bloom during the first few weeks of flower dont know if it helps but i still do it the vertical stretch of the first few weeks of flower makes me think that they might still need them
but i am far from an expert
just something i do but it seems alot of people think half the stuff i do is wrong but it works for me the trick is finding something that works for you under what ever conditions you have i retired 400w of cfl for 270 w of leds the math says i am retarded but with the topping and 50/50 soil/soiless hempy style
and leds the first run vegged almost as fast as the cfls but with half the watts and lower temps
you gotta get your own groove and run with it
there is no magic recipe


so if you learned anything from this
it should be
that breeder times are BS and just used to sell seeds

when you water normally there should be some run off
even in a 5 gal in full bloom you have to water every few days
IMO veg is where you should be concerned with over watering mostly in the seedling/toddler stage
in full bloom i have to water my 3 gal pots every other day with atleast 1/4 run off the run off helps remove the excess nutes that were not used
so technically your flushing them a bit every watering
the soil decomposes and gives most of your nutes
almost all of the "big bud " type additives contain sugars cane sugar or molasses this just helps the micro's in the soil decompose what is left
these additives work by simply making the microbes poop more so to speak


ps if i make little sense its the hydrocodone's and alcohol

How was the buzz after the cure ??? I'm growing Critical cheese now.
