So here is an update.. About a week ago I gave her Epsom salt. Today I gave her a lesser dose of Epsom again as well as some of grandmas molasses. I will get the good blackstrap for my next grow. My girl is having pest issues. Some black ones I assume to be spider mites, possibly. Any organic home remedy suggested for this issue.

As for my early flower issue. I am not sure if it has In fact started revegging, although last week after two days of the Epsom salt feeding I noticed ALOt of new growth down my stem. It's still short though. That's A good thing to me.

I started making my stealth micro can for my room. I am using a nightstand. The bottom in the inside was not solid(meaning a major gap in the middle of the bottom from one side to the other) so I rigged up some aluminum pans that fit surprisingly perfect allowing me an extra 4 inches of height! cha Ching! I lined it with a car visor although I now realize it is not the Mylar material I thought it was. It is closer to foil than anything but will work for now. I will be adding my lights in a week. Standard cfls, 6500 k about 4 or 5 of them threw on top one on each side. Made small holes for intake and outtake for now. Will handle the smell issue if need be. My roommates know what I am up to lol. I will be taking a few clones from MaMa outside which is what I will be growing in my box. Will be doing LST as I was originally leaning towards scrog, but feel. Now that I will benefit more from LST.

Umm. So I will be transplanting MaMa in a week into a slightly larger pot with perlite and the already using MG organic. Will pick up FFOF eventually, as well as get started on a line of nutes, etc.

I would like to add that I am learning a lot and truly making sence of the overwhelming research that I have participated in. This is awesome guys! I'm hooked lol

Now y'all's turn , questions and suggestions( and reps) welcome
;)

Glad the epsom is helping some. Whether you do clones or start from seed I would not veg them any longer than a week in that grow box before 12/12. The LST should work ok, might need to supercrop them as well.

You will learn a lot on this grow. Good luck man.

Glad you are keeping an eye out Man. If veg only a week, will that be enough growth including growth from flowering to utilize all the space in the box. Would I benefit from two plants or focus on one at a time .

I guess I should know/assume that 1 weeks worth of growth in the box would/may be more than what it was/would be outside... Guess now I am gonna have to research supercropping as that was one of the couple things I did not focus on..

Yeah, check out youtube for some supercropping videos. It's not a complicated process but take your time weakening the stem before bending over.

I assumed it was 2 you were planning, in that case 1 week max. They will look puny but will grow substantially in flower (may post some pics here in a minute to show you).

If one then you can let it veg for 2 1/2 ish weeks and will need to supercrop it and tie it down. Given that you have two seperate pans in the bottom it would probably be more efficient as far as how much root mass/soil you can fit to do 2.

Ok looked up some of my pics from this grow for some examples. The flowering time for these was 8 1/2 weeks under a 600HPS.

First some of the plants at day one of 12/12. So you can get an idea of how long to veg them for your space.

You could veg until 2 plants are slightly smaller that the Harlequin or Sugar Plum I posted and then flower them imo. Any larger and you will likely run out of space. Good luck

Sounds like a plan, thanks. You noticed the two desperate pans. I used two only because I did not have one large enough. I was still intending on using pots unless you think I can somehow pull it off using the pans. I thought about ways myself and came up with small pots being best.

Yeah, stick with pots imo. Easier to remove and maintain than those pans I would think. Also, roots like to go deep and those pans are not deep. Try to get as wide a pot as you can in those pans. Definitely look up techniques on how to train your plants. You can supercrop them up until about 2 weeks flower or so, but only LST after that...

Should I bother buying a reflector for my lights. Like what Home Depot has for a few bucks that people use for reptiles. Or mayby even a DIY reflector that fits the ceiling of my cab? From what I gathered on here... I think due to the small size and the reflective material on the walls(all four walls btw) that is is unneeded. I kinda had a general idea of what I am going to do with my lights. 2 6500k cfls on a Y piece, hanging as low as needed by simply a hook on the ceiling(so that way I can easily move to desired heights obviously) centered on one side, and the exact same centered on the otherwise. Then possibly a 2700k centered kinda in the middle somewhere. I see this a lot although I have noticed that with such sma size, the mixed spectrum is not as beneficial. All bulbs will be changed to 2700k for flowering of course. I am prepAred to supercrop And LST as needed. I will mention that I am really good at researching and gathering informTion as well as making sense of it all. Not to mention the fact that I am ten times more efficient on e hands on practice has been achieved. Here in about 2 weeks I am going to be taking clones from MaMa hopefully. ( I see where I can eventually take them, but not guide big enough yet) I am eager to do so becUse I Am not ready wanting her outside in my yard anymore. My state still thrives on ignorance and tyranny.. She was meant to be a learning lesson and she has most def succeeded with this. I could learn so much more from her but I would much rather learn indoors. And I have no space for her:( I'm gonna use her like a back alley whore. I am gonna take what I need from her, and throw her Away like McDonald's leftovers. Picked up some bagseed sativa (regs) tonight that has been a lot better than the mainstream here for about a year or two. Got two seeds from my sack. Gonna have to buy another bag because I don't know how long it will be before the extra funds become available for any seedbank purchases. Her, anyone got some seeds that are decent they want to share , well. I am great to share with! Haha

How long in to flowers are you? I'm no pro but here's my two cents...if you want to go back to veg and still get a yield as well as get some clones, top your plants (supercropping method mentioned above.) So when you do this it will branch out two new stems. You can then fim the new nodes on those and get 4 new branches....people get MASSIVE yields off one plant by doing this, but you will need to lst or preferrably scrog it because vegetation will be so dense.

Then you can take the flowers you hacked off and continue to flower them (which I would do seems how they already started and I'm impatient), or put them back into veg.

One thing I did learn is MG soil definitely needs more aeration, so adding perlite will make a world of difference to your roots. Also, if you analyze the ingredients in the soil it's packed with some nutes it needs for veg growth, but not really flowering so I would suggest bone meal and maybe a couple pinches of blood meal. Even though it's labeled for one specific nute I believe in using different sources to get all sorts of different micros that the plant wants. I think when I move back to a place where I can have a legitimate grow I will start making my own teas and use compost for nutes.

If bottom leaves are still yellowing then they need more nitrogen. Keep in mind as you water, some of the good stuff in the soil goes to the bottom. And seems how you're using such a big pot and a tony plant, the roots might not be able to absorb it. I did this with Lucy and I never had any problems until flowering, regardless of the nutes in the soil. As long as you're frugally adding them, you will be ok.

Plant looks much better than mine at first week of flower! Im anxious to see what you end up doing with it.

So here is an update.. I still have not transported into better soil mix although I know that I need to.. I did however drill holes last night in the side of the pot.

As far as the early flowering issue, I am still seeing a lot of flowers coming in on new and stronger side branches. It is actually looking pretty good.

I did lose most of my fan leaves in the past weeks. Then last night I trimmed her a bit before I realised I was wasting my time due to the suns abilities to penetrate through higher leaves to get sun to the bottom half. I supercropped my two main branches as well as two lower ones. I also mixed that with some LST. It would appear as a ghetto scrog but is actually my way of LSTing. Fishing line to keep the stronger branches from sprouting higher and higher. Then I started to use the line to
keep all the branches going outward a instead of up. I can visibly see the light going everywhere needed as well as keeping general height down( a big plus for my outside grow)

Still no nutes. This is not me being stubborn , this is me being broke and limited. I am going to be pricing blood meal at my next walmart trip. Eventually I'll have the cash to just hit up our local HTG supply store and get the bloom nutes first. As my future grows will be begging only 1-2 weeks.

I would like to add that the position of the plant in my yard has added to the loss of direct light, due to shade. She has been staying in flowering mode so I will leave her there so she can stay in that stage. She is making me nervous with her size( the LST, supercropping, short veg time contributed to keeping her short :) most men have big trucks to make up for other things. Not me. I keep it small when showing off. Keep expectations low and first impressions will always be great!
