First time grower here. I think I screwed up.

So I am growing two clones in my closet currently. Everything went well but I misunderstood my friend and instead of just removing the outside plastic of the rockwool cube, I accidentally removed the rockwool cube itself. So when I planted my clones, it was just the stem, leaves, and roots. The rockwool cube was picked off because that's what I thought I was supposed to do

Will my plants be okay? I feel like I really fucked up badly. Please reassure me on what I should do.

Thanks. Appreciate all the responses.

IF you didn't damage the roots TOO much, then after about a week you should see some new growth. They're in soil? Just water them and watch. Take a picture today, compare it to what they look like in a week. If you see growth, you're probably fine.

But it's gotta be difficult to pick off all the rockwool from the roots without hurting it too much.

There were some roots that came off but there were still roots attached. I will do what you said, I will take a picture and keep watering. See how they do.

Don't water TOO much, either. Only water when the soil dries out a little in the top inch or two.

But give it room to breathe. It might be stunned for a bit so dont get excited. If your new its good to be reminded, " It's only a fucking weed" ....Let it be one.

True indeed, and hard to kill unless you're trying to. I've had plants split in half, clones take 2-3 weeks to start coming to life, all sorts of problems. But they always come back to life.

i wouldnt baby it either. despit what some will tell you, these are pretty hardy plants and it takes more than most would think to flat out kill them. u can mess them up 100 different ways...trust me, but to flat out kill them takes effort..lol. if u are that worried about ur clones, just slick them in a cup of water with something over the top to keep the light off the roots. they will perk right back up with in an hour or so of being put in a cup of PH'd water.
