First Time Grower In Need Of Help!

Hi, i was wondering if if i were to grow an auto strain (Amphetamine Auto) would the smell from the plant be uncontrollable to the point where it would stink up the house or would it be able to be confined to a small room like a closet or such with a bad air seal? Also, if anyone would be able to point me towards any seeds that radiate a small amount of smell and preferably an auto that would be great. And if it does stink up the place how long into the grow would it start to smell? I was also wondering if i NEED to use any grow mix or any special growing medium to get a decent smoke of my plant? It starts to smell really really bad about 3 weeks into flower. I mean good, it smells really good 3 weeks into flower .... Mediums, yield and potency coco coir imo

Without proper venting it will smell up the place. No matter what strain.

yeah OP say if in a bedroom closet, the smell would creep into the hall easily regardless of strain. one could mask/camouflage a low odor strain single plant say, in the corner of a large rarely visited basement.

Northern Lights won't stink up the place, it's a strain known to smell very little
