First time grower. Just purchased these LED's for 4x2 tent. Yay / nay ?!

Whats up everyone !!!

NEWB grower here. Ordered my first set up last week. I plan on using five gallon pots with super soil and scrog.

Just looking for some validation or roasting on my choices.

I purchased a 4x2x6 tent and plan on lighting it with two kits from Par-Horta com

I am using two 200W Vero 29 kits w/ HLG-185H-C1400B Drivers

4 x 5000K and 4 x 1750K for a total of 8 COBs @ 400W

good choice ? bad choice ?

Yea I kind of threw all my eggs in his basket so to say lol. Being as I live about two hours away from him, I wanted to support "local" so to say. I called him right away and he was really helpful. I'm just buying the kits off him, I will be assembling the stuff myself.

Youll be happy with the results from those kits. 50 watts per square foot is overkill with COBs. You will most likely need to dim them

I think youre right, but the boards Vegas is having made are 3000k 90 cri which would give a bit more red, with a peak at 630 nm.
