Hey guys... This is my first grow and I'm using an aerogarden ultra LED with Dutch master Gold grow A+B nutrients.. I am growing dark devil strain from sweet seeds.. I nute burned my plant early on since then It looks like it is doing much better...

Not sure but some of my leaves have downward bends and other leaves look pretty normal..

some of my leaves look normal... Some of the new growth has some purple in the leaves and are a little curly.. Not sure if this is because dark devil is in the red family and is supposed to be purple or if it is some kind of deficiency in my plant.its kind of hard to see the purple but it is there... Pleas let me know if my plant is fine or if it looks like it can use some help.. Really want to get a good smoke from this..image.jpgimage.jpg

Sometimes purple shows due to low temperatures - but growers deliberately drop the temps to provoke the colour showing.
Other times - and I'd guess this applies to yours (but I don't know the strain) - the purple is part of the plants genetics.

Prune off those burnt leaves.
Everything else looks to be in order.

I have noticed over the past year or 2 no matter what i do all of my plants get purple stems i think it might be a by product of led lights
in my case anyway i know it's not a deficiency and if your getting over over feeding you may be experiencing the same thing
they look healthy
happy growing

So I shouldn't worry about the slight drooping in the fan leaves? And the dark devil strain is supposed to turn purple but I thought it would ot happen during flowering

Oooh, yeah that's burned pretty good, and so early into things could end up costing you alot of vigor. Only time will tell. Lesson learned right? Go slow early on and step up nutes gradually. I will say the new growth looks a little deformed at the very top but as I said...Give it a week and see what she does. Though to hedge your bets I might consider germing another seed to pop. Are they feminized seeds? You might want to do a couple and take the strongest one, you'll be glad you did :)

Also just general advice, and Im not trying to imply you were rushing, but unless your on a tight schedule or something just take it slow, be very patient and let the plants tell you when and how much food they need. Patience is something I wish I had learned sooner when I was a new grower.

How many first timers overfeed and cause nute burn...?
I know I did...
and I read a lot of first timers posts that describe it.

It's a steep learning curve - the first grow.
