Oh an inoculation is just re-introducing some microbes into the medium. Leeching/flushing can wash them out and since you're in such a heavily amended mix, they'd be helpful. I use Recharge or Photosynthesis plus. Both have good spore counts. This is a whole other topic though.

I paid a shit load for this S-IPS monitor and it's worth every penny. But that brings up a great issue. Images look different on everyone's monitor. That's why diagnosis by pictures is risky. Thanks for your praise you are to kind.

Another thing about the microbes, Ocean forest doesn't add them.
If you are growing organic, you are really feeding the microbes, not the plants.
I agree you should get some.
Many of the organic materials are unavailable without being broken down by your microbes.

I used them mixed before, they are both really great soils. I mostly just used HF. I never added more microbes before I went organic.
I'm sold on the microbes though, I just bought a bag of Recharge, I plan to recycle my soil from now on. :weed:

I like both. Recharge is dry and Photo+ is bottled.
Either will work.
You might be able to get a sample box from Microbelife that includes the Photo +
Check the Microbelife website and look for the sample request form.

I thought Recharge looked best for me with Great White a close second. Just comparing labels.
I didn't even check the other one out, I wanted powder.

If your soil is healthy and your water source is decent (neutral pH) then your runoff should read at the ideal pH of 6.2 to 6.8. To remedy soggy low pH soil add some High Porosity Pro mix to your fox farm soil and try to get your pots off of the floor a bit for better air flow. Also your plants are now old enough to get quite hungry. A balanced fertilizer program that includes the ever important Macros of Calcium and Magnesium are your next step

Ok so basically i moved em to fast into 4 gallon pots? I start them in the lil.brown pots in the attached pic.So should i move them to the fabric pot in the pic before 4 an 5 gallon? But you are right on the nose about the ph i was having that issue exactly.Was a lil low in ph an i think that led to my first issue with lock outs.

Heres why. Ocean forest is shit. Bottom line. Promix HP is a better and more stable soil. You guys and your ocean forest garbage. Everyone that uses that shit has problems. Do some research before you start growing. Sorry but I can't stand HFOF its crap

Was my first grow an did research.I read alot of sites an reviews before i decided to go with fox farm.But it also said it was organic an after i started my grow i contacted them about being organic an got this reply.
[At this time, our potting soils and soilless mixes do not carry organic certification. We do have many FoxFarm liquid nutrients and dry fertilizers that are OMRI and CDFA certified which can be found here on our website. ]Sooo i dunno what happened they must have changed something.But they had great reviews.

ok guys, first get your leaves out of the dirt and moisture, first. then look at that chart on the first page. working with these plants is like working on a car. if your car does not start. you don't replace the engine do you. you find the simplest and cheapest solution first then go from there. give the plant time to react

For those certifications the company has to pay fees. so many companies will not get the certs on the older products because they already have a reputation but they are organic. the newer products need the cert so people can say I didnt know that or oh really, when you are at the store. Ocean forest is about a 3 week feed with just water. after that it needs help. it is a running winner. we all change to something because ( what ever the reason). but most will return to Ocean forest or use it with something else, IMO. I mix OF with roots organic. roots gives a good feed and it has coco and OF has a good feed and gives me other stuff

Dude I'm telling you I've done three grows in promix HP and have had zero problems. Its super cheap,comes in a 60lb cube, can be used for seedlings and everything else. All for the cheap price of 38 bucks. How much you paying for HFOF per liter or per kg?
