first time grower needs help! stunted growth!?

This is my first time growing so please excuse my ignorance. I started my plants (outdoors in separate pots) about three months ago...I ended up with one male and one female. I just separated them after reading that suggestion. So the issue is that the buds of the female are very small and dont seem to be making very much progress. The hair-like things are still small and white. Is it true that the more sun it gets the more thc will be produced? Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.

You want to give them as much direct sun light you can a day you will need at least 5 hours of direct light for the buds to mature and fatten. From the moment you start to see bud it should take about 7-8 weeks befor you will be ready to harvest good luck.

p.s Kill the male it will polinate your female yield and potencey will be severely comprimsed if this happens. unless you want the seeds
