the plants look nice but if those lights are cfls you are gonna put those way closer to your plant now that they are flowering. like 2 inches away from them..... and get more of them. a lot more... and switch the spectrums those look like the 6500k your gonna need to switch to 2700k

Hi,

looks pretty good to me. Healthy green color.

Just the leaves on the big one are slightly rolled. Did you give a lot of fertilizer?

After one hour of 12/12 you probably can't tell yet if male or female.

If there are tiny white hairs on the internodes, its a female. But it takes 2 more weeks at least to see.

Are those two sockets all you've got? if so just get some 68watt cfls at homo depot work real nice right spectrum too.

you switch the spectrum by getting new light bulbs. its hard to tell from the pic are those bulbs giving a bluish color or a more orange or yellow color? you want the yellow. get as many as you can cfls work but you need more of them. they need to be as close as you can get them to the plant without them burning the plant.

no way to fix that with miracle grow you will see that the whole time probably. those actually look really good for miracle grow. i have used it several times and it burned them way more than yours

I just moved the lights closer to the plants, but you're saying those 2 lights arent enough?
and i have to get 2 totally different bulbs in order for it to flower and produce bud?

it will still flower and bud but the other spectrum will give them better light to use while flowering... you can read up on why that is theres no way im going to explain that........ those 2 lights are not enough to produce good buds they will be fluffy and loose you will see what i mean if you grow that plant with just those lights

well the bulbs look like swirls, and they do give off a bluish kind of color, so ill get some new kind of bulbs, or is there a different way of lighting that you could suggest?
thats not too expensive and wont run my energy bill up

and the bottom buds will be puny little things. if you have small branches toward the bottom of the plant that arent even getting light i would cut them off and let your plant conccentrate energy on the higher branches that actually get light

yea those swirl bulbs are called cfls(compact flourescent lights) they will work but you need several of them... this is what i used in my closet that looks about what you got there http://www.htgsupply.com/viewproduct.asp?productID=53025 its 150w hps it wont run your bill up. youll be glad you bought it ... you wont have to buy all those bulbs and all the sockets for them... and your flowering plant will love it its just way better

your plant looks very healthy... it will work out im just trying to help you get a better harvest.... that plant will definately finish it looks good... even if you just stick a few more cfls in there it will help a lot.... you dont even have to put them in big reflectors like what you got (but leave the ones that are there already alone)...there a cfl thread on here go read up a little on how they do it so you can see their pics and advice

alright, ill look around at some local stores and see what kind of new lights I can get, thanks for the help.
Also, do you think my plant could use some trimming? some of the leaves on the bottom of the plant have already fallen off and some are yellow and rolling, just trim it up a bit?

This is an update on my plants, I recently picked up 2 new CFLs which are 300 Watts each which is a huge upgrade from the other lights I had, as you can see in the picture where I compare the 2 lightsDSCF2144.jpg
I just picked them up today and they make things much hotter in the closet, I have a fan on high running but it doesnt seem to be helping much.
anyways here are some other picturesDSCF2141.jpgDSCF2140.jpgDSCF2142.jpg
