first time grower plant checkup

just wondering if you guys thought my w.w. was lookin good or not i just changed cycle to 12/12 on the 8th still no signs of flowers yet. but thats not why i'm here, it looks a little on the scraggly side its 21'' tall criticism welcome. 400watt hps mg organic soil 3 gallon pot.

anyone have any thoughts?

It looks like a very ncie a healthy plant.. does look a little stretchy. Maybe next time try topping or fimming or one of those methods so that you will have more of a bush, and not just one main bud. Maybe put the 400watt a bit closer if it is far away and increase circulation so that the heat does not affect the plant. How far is the 400 right now?? do you have any fans?

yes i have a fan blowing on it.. the light is about 10 inches away currently.. but it was farther away earlier in the grow ...about 16'' ...i'm just glad its gonna make it ... it was very close to death earlier in its life due to a ph problem... ill have to top the next time ... thanks for your input

yeah man the plant looks very healthy. A little stretched but not to bad. When bud sites appear you will prob end up with 1 main cola, but a few smaller ones around the plant. A 400HPS does work rather well to penetrate leaves so u got no issues there. JUst control ur heat, and ur pH like u said earlier

The ph problem probably is why its looking a bit stretched and not as bushy as you'd expect from keeping it 10" under a 400w hps. How long was it vegged for?

heh well it was vegged for like 3 months....but it didnt really start growing till about a month ago....due to ph
