First Time Grower: Plants per square feet/CFLs

Yea leds i hear create little to no heat
i just saw one on craigalist for $20 i might pikit up its a ufo
im noy sure on the wattage of leda ive never used them before
Try and have ATLEAST 100watts per plant
andd if u stik to cfls mix the spectrum up a bit
i use cfls to veg
go with 4to 1 spectrum
for example: Veg 4x6500k 1x2700k
and vice versa for flower

Your 20 CFLs are going to produce a lot more heat than you think in that small space. You should have more than enough light. I don't believe you have room for more than 2 plants.

20 x 26w = 520w. 260w per plant.

From seeing all the valuable tips. I might just get a few 2700k CFLs and mixed it up with some 6500k CFLs.

I think that will cover the light spectrum.

For veg I might use 16 daylight and 4 warmlight and during the glowering stage I will use 6 daylight and 16 warmlight.

I was thinking between 2-3 plants. I am planning to seed 2 then clone them in another box I plan to built.

well as for how many plants, it all depends on your methods. i know growers who grow short fat indicas, and stuff them every 0.1 Sq/FT. you could effectively grow 100 plants in a 10 Sq/Ft area. it all depends on the plant and lighting. Need more info on your strains before anyone can give you any real accurate info.
