:joint: First Time Grower, Closet is 3ft (L) x 1ft (B) x 4ft (H).
Need To Know What Type Of Lights I Would Need??
How Many Plants I Could Grow In This??
What Type Of Fans Do I Use??

If My Closet Doesnt Seem The Right Dimensions Then Let Me Know, Building It From 1/2" Plywood.

First Time Grow, so all advice is welcome, live in Northern Ireland and fed up with shite grass and paying £10 a gram. Ive seen some of the closet grows on this site and have decided its time to give it a go!

What are you going to be growin in soil or hydro? If you've only got 4' of height you have to consider how tall your growing pot is going to be and how close you can get to the lights. HID's will give you the best bud, but they run a lot hotter than cfls.

Why not build a taller cab?

Lowryder #2 will be your best bet and you might be able to fit 2 in that small of a space. Maybe.

im going to be growing in soil, just finishd building the cabinet, made it
3.5ft (L) x 1.5ft (B) x 4ft (H).

what kind of lights are best, im looking for the cheap option just to get started, im only looking to grow 2 plants.

I cudnt build the cabinet any bigger as it was to fit in a specific place out of sight.

you thinkin of growin any plants outside this year the weather over the last few days has been good for this time of year so hopin it will be a good summer.....im thinkin of plantin some purple power wat u think

cfl's are def. your best bet here. (that is a small space. good luck when you flower and they start to emit odors!) keep the lights as close as you can w/out burning the leaves. you should do ok, don't forget about heat exhaust.

for something that small a desktop oscillating fan will do if it's a sealed box or with a cover, you may want to invest in a couple of computer fans one for intake, one for exhaust, depends on your noise allowance, too.

being only 1 foot wide makes for a skinny box. usually a plant will need at least 1 sq. foot for growth. So at most I see three plants in there keep 'em clipped low so they fill out a little, and the height should be ok. go for a lower growing weed. i can't help you there, I used baggie seeds most of mine are sativas (of course) which love to grow UP! they are tall suckers at harvest end that's why I started them flowering at 14" they'll still grow to about 3' at end so at 4' height your box should be ok. keep your lights as close as possible without burning the leaves.

thanks for the replys guys, im going to get cfls this weekend and hopefully get myself sorted with lowryder2 seeds, if i cant ge the lowryder2 seeds im just gona get whatever seeds and experiment, its my first grow so ill just have to see how it goes

Endoe is right you should rock some lowrider, breed a few times, for a sh*t load of seeds. (just 1 male 1 female) them just rock 2 females in your grow space till you run low on seeds. keep 24 hour light theu auto-flower

dude go to theattitude look at auto-flowering dwarfs im growing some right now. u can even find some strains that u can leave under 24hours of light and it will finish in 9 weeks seed to harvest and they dont get much taller than 1 foot.. check it out
