i swear yesturday i was in the same position as you. (almost EXACTLY!!!) It kept getting too hot upstairs. The only reason i diddn't move the grow to the basement is b/c as soon as winter hits the EXACT same problem is going to occur. Too cold. (then you gotta buy a heater). Then i said too myself "even if winter hits and i keep the grow upstairs it's still gonna get too hot in the closet when the lights are on". Plus when the lights get shut off it's gonna get too cold in the closet. There is no way you can cut a hole in the ceiling leading to the attick. (renting?) The only way to overcome this problem is to get fresh air into your grow space and at the same time get the hot air out. I did this with one fan. The fan is pushing the warm/hot air into the attick while at the same time its pulling in fresh air from around the doorway. As soon as the temp got above 85 my plants would start growing very slow. I hope everything goes great! I cant wait to see that Dro! Oh and opening the door will help a little but your still not removing the hot air at a rate where you will notice a good enough change. I am no expert AT ALL.. ive just recently left the same exact boat your on right now!!
