First Time Grower Trichomes

After being an active member on Shroomery, I finally decided to throw in the mushroom towel, took the plunge, and started my first grow a few months back.

Photoperiod day 42 of flower. Are these trichomes clear or milky? How much longer does it look like until she’s ready to be chopped?

How the lower buds look:

Mostly clear, try to look at the trichomes on the buds themselves. The sugar leaves will always turn amber first which is not a good reference as to when they are done

Alright, thank you. Should I just focus my attention to the larger buds too and leave the smaller ones since they'll finish first (I'm assuming)?

Yea you want to harvest when you see mostly cloudy and a some amber, the lowers will probably be mostly cloudy, some clear.
