First time grower using coco

nope....not at this time...I have central air so it stays prertty cool i the grow room I keep the blinds closed so no sunlight is coming in to warm the room.
 
Bk, don't want to worry you, but your kit came with an HTG brand ballast right? It's a piece of shit. Mine crapped out on a Sunday(yesterday) so you can check in my journal to see what I had to scramble to do. Definitely have a couple CFLs on hand to keep your girls on the right time schedule for a day if you have problems. Mine have been surviving fine on 106 watts of CFL for 12 hours now but it still sucks. I hope you never have this problem but keep an eye on it.

This isn't all of them but these are the healthiest....I am still taking care of the other 3 and will post some pics hopefully soon.

Hi guys,
I just found this and some other journals that are growing in coco. I am a new grower as well and I have some problems with the coco coir, maybe you can tell me what's wrong. I watered my plants with PH 6 two days ago and today after watering with PH 6.0 the water runoff was 5.4-5.5. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Nahh I am here.....I just transplanted all of my plants yesterday. My roots all looked good in the coco....but my plants weren't growing. I bet it was a PH problem, but after looking at the two plants I had in soil, I just had to go and get a bag of Ocean's Forest and transplant.

Man, that sucks. I'll never use anything but coco. I feel like Dr. Frankenstein with a crazy experiment in my laboratory growing out of control (read: plants are getting huge!).
