First time grower with a couple specific questions.

Hows it going yall OGKresh here asking for opinions,advice, and tips in my first grow.

I will be growing in my apt from nov-april indoors in a 8x4x6.7 tent. Ill be using biodiesel autoflower and nyc diesel auto flower and og kush feminized.
My questions are:
1. For best quality/yields Do i grow SOIL,DWC, or EBB & FLOW.?
2. For best quality/yields What kind of lighting?
i was thinking 2 600w hps with mh and "6 intake and outtake fans.

The nutes ill be running are Advanced Nutrients Bloom,Micro,Grow with one or two drops of super thrive in first week or so (to promote root growth) i know alot of people hate on superthrive but
I read a bunch of places if used very lightly it will help produce massive roots and keep plant healthy.

Question 3. What other nutes can i use to get the highest thc yeilds and bigger buds.

If your in an apartment hydro would probably be easier and more discreet than soil. I have the same size tent with a 6" fan and it works good. You'll need a filter so the neighbors don't smell it. Two 600 watts sound good for that size. I've been doing dwc. It was a good way to learn hydro because it's easy to change out the res if something goes wrong.

You should get a bottle of everything they have at the hydro store. That's how you get big buds.

Start in soil. It's much more forgiving. Study as many soil making/mixing and indoor growing treads as possible.
Find a grow diary you like and follow it.
Have fun. Keep it simple.

Hydro also has the fastest fail times, short of aeroponics.
Lose a pump mid grow while not home , it could be over.
Mix one batch of nutes with a measuring error, it could be over.
At least with soil you get time to react to issues.
But I'm old and stuck on soil at the moment.
Love hydro, buy hate seeing new growers fail because of its steep learning curve.
Have seen some new growers crush it with hempy buckets too, a passive form of hydro.

Hydro isn't that bad if you keep the ph where it should be. If you mess something up it can be easily fixed by changing out the water. If a pump goes out, the plant will wilt and you will notice it, then you have two or three days to get another one. Hydro is better for indoors because you can dump the water in the toilet when your done with it. With soil, the neighbors are going to wonder why your hauling bags of dirt into the house. If you want to get soil, you need todo it soon because a lot of stores replace all the garden stuff with christmas shit around this time of year.

I too am new at growing indoors, had a grow outdoor this year, small one and then cloned to move inside. I like soil and the smart pots... mine have roots that wont stop and they are just one month old. If you make a mistake it is easy to recover and the drainage on these pots will help with any mis-steps on the feed

the two 600 watt lights will be a little low, which will give you lower yield and potency. It works out to a little over 30 watts per square foot. You want to shoot for 50+ w/sf.
