First Time Growing !

Hi there all i have just received my order of seeds in the mail.. I want to purchase an HPS light system either 400 or 600W.. My Budget is $350 any suggestions ???

I also want to purchase some Cfls for germ/veg any specific ones i should look into getting ?

Dont know about us prices, am in uk. I would go for the 600 mate, out it of all of the hps lights it is the most efficient. 90000 lumens for the 600, 55000 for the 400. The price difference between the 2 is very small. Makes sense to go with the 6. What size is your growing area?

you need 100 watts per plant minimum for GOOD production. get a switchable ballast so you can veg w/ mh and bloom with hps and you won't need any cfl's!!!!

or use a dual spectrum hps bulb. No need to change bulbs. Keeps it real simple.
