First time growing

So, this is my first grow. I was on a low budget and pretty much made this together just to see if i could do it, i used a 15 watt light (haha) and alot of tinfoil. I know tinfoil is bad but i had such a low watt light that i just thought it would be fine, i have a fan in the little room too, it's in my closet and im looking to make it bigger i love seeing my little plant turn into something beautiful, so im looking into buying seeds at nirvana-shop.com they are cheap and look nice, i would do amsterdamseeds but its just to much for me right now, but for the lights im looking into doing cfl's but i am not a handyman so i really dont know how i could do that in my closet. I just need help and tips on this, i will post pictures, the weed is just some bad mids, it's about a month and a half old and i just use blueberry's on it, so yeah i just need help with cheap lighting some nutes i should get and pretty much all around advise.

congrats on a good start with the minimum setup, she's stretched a good bit, but that's expected with the low light
the cheapest way to get started is to take a power strip(7-8$) and suspend it up high
then get some plug in sockets, also cheap 2-3$ a socket
screw in cfl's, and that's about the cheapest way to get a decent setup, maybe $20 total

would that setup still be good for some bought seeds? i was looking into snow white, or Aurora Indica, looks nice but idk if my setup will be good enough

you can do quite a bit with little money, i grew this with a total of 78w of cfl's(lot of reflector though)

whats better for reflecting with cfl's?
should i stay with tin foil or get an emergency blanket , i heard that reflects more and doesnt burn your plants

the emergency blanket gets good feedback here, haven't tried it myself
my setup was made from prepainted aluminum flashing, made a 38 x 15 inch tube out of it
i did spray paint foil with white paint as an experiment when i was getting started
looked like it would be a good reflector, but never actually used it for a grow

Awesome will get that tomorrow. Now with nutes I was just thinking of getting seaweed or something at home depot. And are nirvana-shop seeds good?

Emergency blankets work great, I have 'em in both my veg and flowering room. You can also use them as a reflector for CFL's, I just wrap around an appropriate size piece of cardboard like wrapping a gift, and there it is. For cheap vegging nutes, MG All Purpose Plant Food (liquid) works fine to start out with - as well as unsulphered molassas, wal-mart next to the pancake syrup. Lots of folks here grow Nirvana seeds, do a bit of searching to find out which strain would be best for you. Good luck!:peace:

Get a 400watt HPS [High Pressure Sodium] lamp you can find one on ebay for $140.00 bucks shipped and it comes complete with a ballast, plug-n-play. This will be your best and most important investment but well worth it.

and for reflectives get some mylar a.k.a walmarts emegency blankets.:joint:

alright so today i got 4 23 watt soft white CFL light bulbs, and then a 50 watt plant lightbulb (just to try it out) and i saw somewhere that i should get daylight CFL's too, so any more help?

the soft white are 2700k, some daylights will help your veg cycle
BUT, it really depends on how big you want to go, your plant will stretch plenty during the flower
and the bigger you get, the more cfl's you need to light the plant properly
you may want to consider flowering sooner rather than later, it's a lot easier to deal with a smaller plant with cfl's
depends a lot on strain, but i would guess you will see 3 feet from your current plant

the soft white are the flowering cfl's, you've got just about what you need for a small plant if you start flowering now

ive got snow white and wonder woman going now. both performing really well for me and never fussed too much even though i have 2 of each on a 150hps an some cfl's. wonder woman is slow to start budding but snow white already has nice lil bud heads at 2 weeks. i would reccomend snow white. the seeds look tiny when you get them but apparently good things come in small packages. i would reccomend hittin up attitude its expensive but they have soooooo many strains your brain will go numb. i grew mid bag seeds my first time so it was crazy to see how well these performed compared to them. thats y i would buy from nirvana again:joint:
