send a few pics of different buds in natural light. If your calyces are swollen and not spitting out anymore white hairs, I’d say your in a good window.
The flush-feed again-flush again cycle probably wasn’t the most ideal finish, but it happened and no use looking back.
Titrating down your nutes, nitrogen included, all the way to Finish is my preferred exit strategy….with the last watering being only water a day or two before the “2 days of darkness” finale….but I digress.
Anyway, I’ve had my fair share of outdoor harvests and am a firm believer in not yanking a plant that’s still showing/producing white pistils. Trichomes are one factor and should be considered, but ultimately choose the strain to get the desired effect. IOW don’t try to make an indica smoke like a sativa….and vice versa.
Your bud will be great….those discolored fan leaves will never make it to your bowl…

Plant will “ finish “ when it finishes … however long.
Blurple can drag a grow out also. Feed it and just let it do what it is supposed to do.

I guess I am trying to rush it but I don’t mean to. I just assumed a 8-9 week strain would be done by now or close at least. I’ve never grown before so this is all new territory.

In the future, when growing an 8-9 week strain, just budget for 2 weeks past the highest number. ...so, on my calendar, i would mark "HARVEST???" about 11 wks from flip day. Anything sooner, awesome, but I'll still be expecting and accounting for those additional weeks.

Its a learning thing …. Breeder estimates are guides only … either from test grows they have done or marketing bullshit to keep seed sales going.

Always remember- Plant is running the show.
No prayers / harsh language or bro science will make plant skip straight to your lungs. The final stages are critical as flowers harden off / gain weight. Its like picking fruit , pick at optimal stage not what the weekly calendar says.

Lack of patience has killed many grows.
Thru wasted time and effort just pull trigger too god damn early.

I have my grow in my basement and with the janky scrog setup I have it would be hard to take them out of the tent to natural light. This is mainly why I feel I’m struggling with the trichomes cuz sometimes they look cloudy then and couple days later they look clear. I’ve heard they’re supposed to “bend” when more mature so I’ve been looking for that too

PS. I checked for bud rot but all the buds are intact near the stems, it appears to start at the edges of the leaves and works it’s way inwards.

All the pro grow tips aside, what do more bud pics look like? Like the lower buds on the plant? Spam them bud porn pics :weed:

Breeder timelines are pretty much horseshit and marketing to sell seeds (would you buy a strain that said 8 weeks to harvest or 13?)...your plant in your environment will finish when it is ready. Not when someone in a facility a few thousand miles away under complety different parameters says it is done for them.

Here are some pics of my buds. I got two Blue Kiss plants in 5 gallon fabric pots, fed with fox farm nutrients and under a gixxer 1000W led light. Got fans and an in-line circulating air as well. Tried scrog method but I obviously messed up a little so my canopy is definitely not even and is why some colas are too tall imo, but here it is

What size tent u in just wondering coas i use a gixxer 1000 in a little 2x2x3 tent just for cuttings and a small mother the gixxer 1000 is actually only a 100 watt light, might need a bigger light is what im getting at or daisy chain a few gixxers together since they're cheap

Mine is a 2x2x3, I just bought a Mars Hydro TS 600 and was probably gonna run both. Don’t know yet though cuz the Mars is super bright and takes up a bunch of space
